Friday action at the NBA 2K26 Summer League entered the consolation round in Las Vegas with six games between teams on the outside of Saturday’s single-elimination semifinals. But moments remain to be made, in front of the executives and scouts who could determine the eventual NBA future. Here are the players who starred on Friday:

Maxwell Lewis, Dallas Mavericks

In a summer session that featured more heralded Mavericks *cough* No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg *cough* Lewis managed to stand out with this game-high, 18-point performance. Converting all four of his 3-point attempts, Lewis shot 7-for-10 overall as Dallas raced out to an early lead and never handed it back. The 92-69 victory kept the Magic without a win in Vegas.

Mark Armstrong, Philadelphia 76ers

Armstrong, who spent last season with the Long Island Nets after a pair of seasons at Villanova, showed out off the bench in the 76ers’ 87-83 come-from-behind victory. The 6-foot-2 guard drove repeatedly into the teeth of the defense, tallying 23 points on 7-for-16 shooting, including 2-for-5 from range and a 7-for-9 mark at the line – also pulling down seven boards.

Vladislav Goldin, Miami Heat

A 7-foot-1 center, Goldin moved to the U.S. for high school, setting him up for three years at Florida Atlantic before a jump to Michigan and the Big Ten. He maintained his numbers against improved competition, earning a two-way spot with Miami after going undrafted in June. Goldin helped the Heat escape with a one-point win over the Bucks, posting 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, shooting 7-for-10 from the floor.

Javon Freeman-Liberty & Yuki Kawamura, Chicago Bulls

As action begins to wrap up in Las Vegas, Bulls guard Yuki Kawamura racks up an impressive 20-point, 10-assist double-double.

The Bulls guards – Freeman-Liberty as a starter and Kawamura off the bench – kept the Jazz on the heels from the opening tip of a 105-92 victory. Freeman-Liberty, who split time with the Raptors, Raptors 905 and Windy City Bulls last season, racked up a team-high 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks. Kawamura, whose season swapped appearances between the Grizzlies and G League Memphis Hustle, dished 10 assists, including this crafty no-look; he tacked on 20 points (6-9 3PM), four rebounds and two steals.

Jeremiah Fears, New Orleans Pelicans

With the Pelicans recovering from the injury loss of rookie forward Derik Queen, point guard Fears stepped it up, delivering 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. New Orleans came up short, 113-104, but the No. 7 overall pick provided an encouraging performance, showing growth over the course of the week. The 1-for-5 shooting from 3-point range highlights the main area for NBA improvement, while the 7-for-11 mark on 2-pointers and 10 free-throw attempts showcase the speed and skill that should be ready on Day One.
