2025 NBA 2K26 Summer League: 76ers surge to come from behind and beat Nets

LAS VEGAS – Mark Armstrong and Judah Mintz combined for 43 points while Philadelphia forced 20 turnovers to fuel the 76ers’ 87-83 comeback win over the Brooklyn Nets in an NBA 2K26 Summer League consolation game at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Friday.

The Nets couldn’t have asked for a better start to the consolation clash, as they held a commanding 28-18 lead after one quarter. However, the 76ers roared back over the middle periods, outscoring Brooklyn by a 51-34 margin in that span to enter the fourth quarter with a 69-62 advantage. Yet, the Nets would claw all the way back to pull ahead by an 80-79 margin with 3:09 remaining, before Philly’s game-ending 8-3 run that was spearheaded by four consecutive free throws in the final 36 seconds.

Armstrong led the way for the 76ers with 23 points, adding seven rebounds and two assists. Mintz furnished 20 points, five boards, four assists, a steal and a block. Keve Aluma and Saint Thomas posted matching nine-point efforts while also providing five rebounds and three steals, respectively.

Tyrese Samuel paced the Nets with a 19-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included two assists and one block. Quincy Olivari delivered 18 points, two rebounds and one assist. Grant Nelson supplied 11 points, four boards and two assists.
