Mercury dips as Lahore receives first winter rain

LAHORE – Temperature dropped significantly in Lahore after the Punjab capital received its first winter rain ending a long dry spell.

Rain lashes Garhi Shahu, Abbott Road, Mall Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Model Town, Gulberg, Kalma Chowk, Garden Town, Johar Town, Baghbanpura, Canal Road, Sabzarar and other parts of the city. Temperature has dropped to 9°C in Lahore.
