Agreement for Pau Víctor to join Sporting Clube de Braga

Agreement reached between FC Barcelona and Sporting Clube de Braga for the transfer of the player Pau Víctor.

The Club wishes him the best of luck and every success in his future personal and professional endeavours.

Two seasons in blaugrana

The Catalan’s time in blaugrana comes to an end after a full season with the first team and a superb season the year before while on loan at Barça Atlètic. Pau Víctor played 29 times during the 2024/25 season under Hansi Flick, 21 of which came in LaLiga, scoring two goals, with six and two appearances coming in the Champions League and Copa del Rey respectively.

He came through the youth ranks in Sant Cugat and Sabadell, before going on to join Girona at U19 level. After a great season on loan at Sabadell, he started to get opportunities to play in professional football, going on to make appearances for the Girona first team, mainly in the Segunda División.

Primera RFEF top scorer and three trophies with the first team

Pau Víctor joined Barça for the 2023/24 season on loan from Girona, joining the ranks of development side. He had a superb season, scoring 18 goals, ending as top scorer in the Primera Federación. His great performances saw him earn a permanent transfer to Barça and join the first team squad.

He had a very good preseason under Hansi Flick, scoring a goal against Real Madrid and Manchester City on the USA tour, evidence of his prowess in front of goal. Never shy of putting the work in, he became a key rotation player in attack for the LaLiga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup winners, trophies that will forever be part of his achievements.
