Previously, a leak surfaced online revealing details about the Redmi 15 5G. Now, key details have emerged regarding the 4G variant. The information comes from an Italian store who has listed the Xiaomi Redmi 15 4G ahead of any official announcement by the company.
The listing claims that the Redmi 15 4G will feature a 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It will have a 108MP primary camera on the rear and a 13MP front camera for selfies. The exact processor name is not disclosed. However, the listing reveals that it is an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz. For reference, the phone’s predecessor, the Redmi 13 4G, featured the Helio G91 Ultra processor.
Additionally, the Redmi 15 4G is listed with a 7,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The listing also claims that the phone has an 8.6mm thickness and weighs 224g. It is expected to offer an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Redmi 15 4G is listed in three color options: Midnight Black, Titan Gray, and Sandy Purple. The 8/256GB variant is listed at €184.90, which roughly translates to US$217.
The leaked specifications of the Redmi 15 5G are nearly identical to the 4G variant. It allegedly features a similar 6.9-inch display and a 7,000mAh battery. However, the camera setup differs; the 5G variant is said to feature a 50MP primary rear sensor and an 8MP front camera. Do note that the details mentioned are based on unofficial sources and should be treated as preliminary until confirmed by Xiaomi. Given the number of leaks, an official announcement for both models seems imminent.
