Five venues across Perth, Sydney and the Gold Coast will stage the matches. The Gold Coast Stadium will host the Republic of Korea vs the Islamic Republic of Iran clash on March 2.
Perth hosts the opening game while Stadium Australia in Sydney – the largest venue for the competition with a 79,500 capacity – will provide the stage for the final on March 21.
The Indian football team was placed in Group C alongside Japan, Vietnam and Chinese Taipei in Group C. India are the lowest-ranked team in the group at world No. 70.
The Blue Tigresses will face Vietnam in their first match of the tournament on March 3.
Six teams, including the four semi-finalists, will qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be played in Brazil.
The four losing quarter-finalists will compete in the play-ins on March 19 for the remaining two confirmed spots.
The teams losing in the play-ins will have another chance to qualify via the inter-confederation play-offs.
