British Ambassador: The United Kingdom and Kosovo are proud to call Dua Lipa their own
British Ambassador, Jonathan Hargreaves, yesterday participated in the ceremony of granting Kosovar citizenship to the world-famous singer, Dua Lipa, who is also a citizen of the United Kingdom where she began and developed her career.
Hargreaves said that both these countries, Kosovo and the United Kingdom, are proud to have Dua Lipa as their own.
“The United Kingdom and Kosovo are proud to call Dua Lipa their own. Thank you President Osmani for inviting me to a special ceremony to grant Dua Lipa Kosovo citizenship. “I had the honor of meeting Dua Lipa and celebrating this extraordinary British-Kosovar talent,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, he said he is eagerly awaiting Dua Lipa’s performance tonight at Sunny Hill Festival.
“Come and visit our British Corner at the festival!” he added.
President Vjosa Osmani yesterday, through a presidential decree, granted Kosovar citizenship to Dua Lipa.
In addition to the United Kingdom and Kosovo, Lipa also holds Albanian citizenship. /Express/
