DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Bill Smolinski as a Partner in the firm’s Corporate practice. He will be based in the New York office.
Smolinski advises clients on a broad range of transactions, including the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, acquisition finance, and securities offerings. His practice focuses on tax matters related to the structuring of private investment funds, their investments, and co-investment arrangements, as well as other aspects of private investing in alternative asset classes. He has advised global investment firms in their investments and sales – including continuation vehicle and other GP-led liquidity transactions – as well as in the formation of private equity funds.
