KARACHI (Dunya News) – The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has further simplified the process of obtaining succession certificates.
According to a Nadra spokesperson, applications for succession certificates related to inherited property can now be submitted at any relevant Nadra center across Pakistan, regardless of where the property is located.
Nadra’s 186 Succession Facilitation Centers, established in Islamabad, Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan, will now accept applications from all provinces.
The spokesperson added that legal heirs can complete their biometric verification at any Nadra center. The biometric verification facility is also available through the Pak-ID mobile app, which was introduced some time ago.
Previously, applications for succession certificates could only be submitted in the province where the property was located. Following recent changes, Nadra headquarters has issued a notification to all relevant centers outlining the new procedure, making the process more accessible nationwide.
