Afghanistan, on Wednesday, announced a 22-player preliminary squad for the upcoming tri-series with Pakistan and UAE.
Rashid Khan will captain the side, while Azmatullah Omarzai, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mohammad Nabi also found a place in the squad.
The team will have a two-week training camp ahead of the tri-series, with the side’s first match set for August 29 against Pakistan.
