We were still reeling from Cocoon Ibiza‘s announcement on Wednesday evening, but we weren’t prepared for an aftershock to rock so quickly…
We can now reveal the full line-up for Wednesday 24 September at 528 Ibiza.
After the outdoors shuts at 23:00, the dancing continues onsite until 05:00. That much we knew already. What we hadn’t accounted for was two spaces to dance across.
In a repeat from last year, Sven Väth again takes control of the seldom-used Teatro for one of his extended sets. In contrast to his Daytime set, expect Papa to give this one a little more oomph.
In addition, the Scenarios collective, comprised of Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron and Tim Englehardt, host the club room. They will play a mammoth back-to-back between all four members.
Following extensive refurbishment, the club (pictured above) only reopened this summer and had primarily been used for 528 Ibiza’s in-house Tuesday and Saturday sessions. However, as the summer has progressed, it is being utilised unadvertised on almost all dates.
Previously called “the rabbit hole” under the venue’s former guise, until June this year, it had not been used publicly since 2019.
This latest revelation, just days after we announced the DJs joining during Daytime, sets up the biggest party in 528 Ibiza’s five-year history. It’ll quite possibly be the biggest to have ever taken place at the location, formerly known as Benimussa Park and Gala Nights.
Two outdoor stages during the Daytime Party from 16:00 to 23:00 and two arenas of music for the Nighttime Party from 23:00 to close. We can’t recall many, if any, on this scale before.
The full list of DJs looks like this: (A-Z) Dana Ruh, Gerd Janson, Greta Spark, Krystal Klear, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Norma, Richie Hawtin, Scenarios (Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron & Tim Englehardt) and our talisman Sven Väth, who plays both day and night.
To coincide with this news, Cocoon has also issued a Nighttime Party only ticket for all you nocturnal creatures.
Roll on 24 September. All ticket types are on sale below, where you can also find the full line-up breakdown.
In just over a month, Apple will introduce the world to a fresh portfolio of iPhones. Rumors have focused on a camera-centric design overhaul for the “Pro” flagships and a whole new ultra-slim sibling that will adopt the “Air” branding. It sounds like this year’s Apple Watch may not be a showstopper of the Fall launch event, but its successor might turn out to be one that I’ve been waiting for ages.
According to supply chain outlet DigiTimes, the purported Apple Watch Series 12 set to arrive in 2026 could be a massive overhaul, both inside and outside. “The high-end Apple Watch model launching in 2026 is expected to undergo substantial upgrades and redesigns centered around enhanced sensing capabilities,” says the report.
Citing multiple supply chain sources, the report mentions three key areas of improvement for the 2026 Apple Watch related to battery, biosensing, and aesthetics. Starting with the sensors, Apple reportedly plans to double the number of sensors on its smartwatch, going from four to eight.
A big leap for on-wrist biosensing
Joe Maring / Digital Trends
Supplied by TASC, the report notes that the sensors will be arranged in a ring-like shape on the underside, protected by a transparent glass cover. Aside from opening the doors for new health sensing capabilities, the new sensors will reportedly help improve battery efficiency, as well.
Now, let’s talk about the next-gen biosensing chops. Rumors suggest that blood pressure sensing will finally land on the Apple Watch this year, or next. Apple is most likely relying on the same light-based technique for assessing the blood pressure that we’ve already seen on Samsung’s Galaxy smartwatches.
This approach relies on calibration with a medical-grade sensor, while Huawei has developed a micropump system for its smartwatches that works standalone. Older reports claim that the Apple Watch won’t tell absolute systolic/diastolic blood pressure values, but will simply warn users about any abnormal spikes or drops.
Another promising wellness feature is non-invasive blood glucose level analysis. Apple has been working on the tech stack for years, but due to regulatory concerns and technical challenges, it hasn’t served it aboard an Apple Watch, yet. The underlying tech, however, has been in development in other labs for years.
Digital Trends
In 2022, experts at Georgia’s Kennesaw State University reported the development of a noninvasive system of blood glucose level measurement device called GlucoCheck that works in tandem with a mobile application. A year later, Movano revealed an AI-powered needle-free wearable that lets users check real-time glucose data.
Michael Leabman, the company’s CEO and founder, told Digital Trends that their smartwatch relies on an onboard radio frequency-powered sensor for the job. So far, no mainstream smartwatch brand has delivered on glucose analysis tech, and if Apple manages to pull it off, it would mark yet another huge leap for the company.
What else is on the table?
The DigiTimes report also hints at big gains in the battery life department. It notes that on the Apple Series 12, “power efficiency will improve significantly.” I am more excited about this upgrade, which is supposedly made possible by shifting to a next-gen sensor hub.
Over the past couple of years, smartwatches running Google’s Wear OS software have made big strides in the battery life department. The OnePlus Watch 2 and its successor, owing to their unique dual-OS approach, can easily go past two days without losing any of their functional charm.
Apple Watch Series 10 in titaniumAndy Boxall / Digital Trends
Samsung’s current generation Galaxy Watch 8 series smartwatches also last longer, and in my tests, they comfortably got past a day. With battery saving tools applied, while disabling always-on display and frugal background activity, I got a per-charge mileage close to a couple of days. Apple’s smartwatches rarely go past a full day on a single charge.
Finally, the 2026 Apple Watch is also said to be in line for a design makeover, a year ahead of a similar treatment planned for the anniversary edition iPhone. The report only mentions “a significant redesign,” but doesn’t go into details about any minute details.
Since its market arrival, the Apple Watch has retained the same fundamental design, with the only notable changes being a slimming down of the chassis and the switch to a curved display. Apple is reportedly planning to add cameras to its smartwatch, but there is little clarity whether the 2026 Apple Watch will be the first to get it.
Nottingham Forest have completed the signings of Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee on five-year contracts.
England Under-21s winger Hutchinson joins from Ipswich Town for a fee of £37.5m, while Forest have paid Manchester City close to £30m for midfielder McAtee.
Their arrivals at the City Ground come just a day after manager Nuno Espirito Santo questioned the club’s activity in the transfer market.
“I’m really excited to be here and can’t wait to get started. I’ve played at the City Ground a few times and it’s always felt like a hostile atmosphere, so I’m looking forward to playing here with the fans behind us,” said 21-year-old Hutchinson.
“I’m going to give it my all and I’m looking forward to the challenge as it’s a new chapter for me, but I feel ready.”
McAtee, 22, said: “I feel ready for a new challenge and the club had a great season last year so I want to help build on that and show what I can do.”
Forest will play in the Europa League this season, and on Friday Portuguese boss Nuno suggested his squad may be ill-equipped to handle the demands that a return to Europe for the first time in 30 years may bring.
The East Midlands club are also in advanced talks for Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo before Sunday’s Premier League opener at home to Brentford, with the three deals worth close to £90m in total.
They have been looking for reinforcements after selling Anthony Elanga to Newcastle for a club-record deal of an initial £55m, and have already signed Dan Ndoye from Bologna.
Hutchinson – who scored in England Under-21s’ extra-time final victory against Germany in June at the European Championship after being set up by captain McAtee – joined Town from Chelsea for £20m last summer after spending 2023-24 on loan at Portman Road, helping Ipswich into the Premier League.
He scored three goals in 31 league games last season but was unable to stop Kieran McKenna’s side dropping back into the Championship.
McAtee has been a long-term target for Forest. He made 27 appearances for City last season but just three Premier League starts.
JEDDAH (Saudi Arabia) – It wasn’t long ago when Zhao Rui stirred doubts regarding his future with China.
“Probably, you know the hiccup story that happened during the last FIBA window against Japan,” recalled the 29-year-old. “Like I said, I was going to step down from the national team.”
The seasoned swingman was referring to Team Dragon’s 100-58 victory over Japan back in Window 3 of the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers just last February, gaining a measure of payback after losing in the first window.
But what resonated more was his comments after the match which he just brought up.
Fast forward to now, and Zhao just led the Chinese to a win of historic proportions.
“
I will keep showing my leadership and we’ll keep staying together – and fight together.
Zhao Rui, China
Team China on Saturday took the scalp of New Zealand by way of a convincing 98-84 victory in front of their own fans at the King Abdullah Sports City here to book the first ticket to the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Final.
It was the country’s first trip to the continental conclave’s Big Dance in a decade or since winning it all in 2015 at home in Changsha, and starring in that big of a triumph was the sweet-shooting swingman himself.
Zhao fired a game-high 24 points on 63.6-percent shooting, including a 5-of-8 clip from beyond the arc, alongside 6 dimes as he scored and assisted in a strong windup to complete their ouster of the Tall Blacks.
He was also responsible in dealing the killer blow in the final moments – a crazy hoist from deep a la Dwayne Wade to beat the shot clock with less than 30 seconds left that brought the venue into immense jubilation.
“I think like our national anthem, the lyrics say, ‘The more dangerous, the more we should stick together heading forward,’” Zhao said shortly after the Semi-Final win. “Not individually, but together. That’s very important.”
More than anything, though, that performance of his was further evidence of how much he has embraced being the team captain of a relatively young squad put together by Coach Guo Shiqiang and his braintrust.
Zhao would be the very first to admit how emotional he could get as a player, and that is precisely the reason why he brought up what he had said to the press back in February simply to get his point across.
Yet everything changed when he was named captain of China.
Upon being entrusted a role so crucial, the CBA star then realized that he has a responsibility not only for himself but for an entire crew as his teammates, most especially the younger ones, are looking at him.
“Coach Guo, he’s been encouraging me, telling me, ‘Let’s work together, let’s keep working hard, let’s make something happen together, we still have enough time to do that.’ So he really trusts me,” he said.
“He made me the captain of the team. So then, I realized that I have a responsibility to set a good example for the young players,” he added, “and guide and support the young players so that you earn their respect.”
There should be no doubt that he’s setting a solid example for the team, particularly in the ongoing Asia Cup. After beating New Zealand, he’s now averaging 14.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
For Zhao, it’s also his way of repaying the trust given to him by Guo.
“I want to do that because I don’t want to let Coach Guo down,” said the former FIBA U18 Asia Cup gold medalist, who’s now competing in his second Asia Cup. “I want to prove that Coach’s decision is right.”
Guo couldn’t be any prouder to see him grow into the role he’s given him.
“Zhao Rui is the captain for the new-look Chinese national team,” the veteran mentor said. “As captain, he has been setting a very good example leading the younger players and mentor them as a veteran.”
“Everybody respects him; he’s worthy of being respected,” Guo added.
Now, as Team China have brought themselves closer to regaining Asia Cup glory against either Australia and Iran, Zhao vowed that he’ll continue to be the leader that this team has grown to admire and respect.
“Being a captain has also helped me control my emotions during games,” he said. “For me, controlling my emotions is key in the game – if I get triggered my teammates always encourage me to stay calm. That really helps me.”
“So, I will keep showing my leadership and we’ll keep staying together – and fight together,” he added.
Pedersen and Söderqvist go 1-2 in GC after final stage team attack
Lidl-Trek capped off a perfect week in Denmark with Mads Pedersen winning the final stage in Silkeborg, securing both his third stage win and the overall victory. The Danish champion was joined on the podium by teammate Jakob Söderqvist, who rose from fourth to second in the general classification after a bold late attack with Pedersen and Søren Kragh Andersen.
The decisive move came on the final circuits in Silkeborg when the trio broke clear with a few others, forcing a race-winning split. Pedersen powered to victory on the line, while Söderqvist crossed in third. The young Swede gained both time bonuses and a gap over the peloton, catapulting himself up to second overall. Having already won the Stage 3 time trial, he also secured the best young rider’s jersey.
Lidl-Trek’s successful week was further underlined as the Team claimed the Lidl-sponsored best team competition, the perfect way to recognize a week-long complete team performance as each rider was celebrated on stage.
What a race this Tour of Denmark has been for us! – Mads P
“I will still blame Skjelly [Mattias Skjelmose] for this one,” said Mads Pedersen at the finish. “He went really fast into the climb and, even if he says it wasn’t him, he made the split and then after that we kind of had to keep it going. Kim was on the radio saying ‘ok boys, now you’re into it, so now it’s up to you to finish it as well’. But with Jakob and Søren there also, this was an ideal situation for us and, yeah, this pure racing was really nice.”
Reflecting on the week, Pedersen added: “It was pretty hard, but with the result, it was nice for sure. And it’s super nice to get Jakob up on the podium as well. Maybe Søren also gets onto the podium or he’s really close. That would have been nice to be one, two and three, but let’s say it like this: now Jakob steps up into the big scene where he belongs and, yeah, what a race this Tour of Denmark has been for us.”
The Danish crowds once again turned out in huge numbers for the finale, something that was not lost on Pedersen. “We can see cycling is growing in Denmark and it’s so nice to see all these people and this atmosphere. Not only today, but in general the whole week. Thanks to everyone in Denmark who came out on the roads to cheer on us.”
“It’s a dream,” said second-placed Jakob Söderqvist. “I think expectations could never be higher and we didn’t spend too much time painting them on the wall before the stage, we just said ‘whatever happens, happens’ and maybe we can make something good out of it. It wasn’t a clear plan, it was just being ready to improvise, and I don’t think it could have gone any better. It was just dream racing in the last half an hour. It was the perfect way to do it and I enjoyed it so much. This is something I will take a step back from now in the coming days and just enjoy. I think I am on a good path and I’m just trying to enjoy the journey I am on now and not stress too much about it.”

Although adrenaline can cause mild and transient adverse events, new research finds this should not deter allergists from administering it in dire situations like anaphylaxis.1
“This review article demonstrates that [intramuscular adrenaline is a safe option when given at an adequate dose in the context of anaphylaxis,” wrote investigators, led by Motohiro Ebisawa, Mfrom NHO Sagamihara National Hospital, in Japan.1
Adrenaline has many misconceptions about its safety, and The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology debunked epinephrine myths: epinephrine is not dangerous, the needle is not large or painful, and antihistamines should not replace it.2 The organization stated that epinephrine is safe and lifesaving, only causing short-lived adverse effects, such as anxiety, tremor, and fast heart rate. Epinephrine is available as a small, often pain-free needle, ranging from 0.29 to 1 itch.
Anaphylaxis is more than just itching and hives—it can lead to fatal vascular collapse or airway obstruction. In the US, 1 in 20 individuals face anaphylactic reactions, with 225 deaths per year.1
National and international guidelines for anaphylaxis recommend immediate intramuscular injection of adrenaline into mid-anterolateral thigh as the first-line treatment. However, misconceptions surrounding epinephrine can result in improper administration.
The European Anaphylaxis Registers show only a small percentage of anaphylactic events are treated with adrenaline. Clinicians may rely on second-line treatments, including high-flow oxygen, intravenous fluids, inhaled short-acting bronchodilators, and nebulized adrenaline, or third-line antihistamines and corticosteroids, which have slower onset and peak plasma concentrations.
In this review, investigators provided an overview of the clinical use of adrenaline autoinjectors in the management of anaphylaxis, safety considerations, and the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic profile of 3 autoinjectors.
The review found that adrenaline is safe when administered in the correct dose and route. However, a study reported that only 61% of physicians could accurately calculate the volume of adrenaline required when provided with the concentration and intended mass.
Intramuscular adrenaline (1 mg/mL) should be administered at a rate of 0.01 mL per kilogram of body weight up to a total of 0.5 mg per dose. This type of adrenaline can be repeatedly administered in short intervals of 5 – 10 minutes until the patient no longer has anaphylaxis.1
As for intravenous adrenaline, the recommended dose for anaphylactic shock is 1 μg/kg in children and 0.1 mg of 0.1 mg/mL in adults. The intravenous dose for cardiac arrest is 1 mg of a 0.1 mg/mL concentration in adults.1
Intramuscular adrenaline can lead to mild and transient adverse events, including tremors, palpitations, and anxiety. Other reported events include tachycardia, hypertension, dizziness, tremors, vomiting, and chest pain, but none were considered severe.
Recent guidelines from the Resuscitation Council of the UK have stated that intravenous infusion should be administered to patients with refractory anaphylaxis. Otherwise, these patients may be at risk of cardiovascular risks due to dosing errors. The review found overdoses of adrenaline can result in severe cardiovascular complications, such as myocardial ischemia, ventricular tachycardia, and myocardial infarction, among others.
Investigators noted they only observed adrenaline overdoses when it was administered as an intravenous bolus.
“This shows that even in an emergency setting, there is limited awareness on appropriate usage and route of administration of adrenaline,” investigators wrote. 1“Education and training on usage aspects may help reduce [cardiovascular] complications and overdoses when using adrenaline to treat anaphylaxis.”
When delivered in correct doses, patients only experience mild adverse events, and auto-injectors do not cause additional events.
“Therefore, limiting adrenaline administration owing to anticipated side effects in an emergency circumstance like anaphylaxis would not be warranted,” investigators wrote.1
EpiPen, Emerade, and Anapen all show strong pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic profiles; EpiPen 300 μg provides faster and greater early adrenaline exposure than intramuscular synringes, Emerade shows delayed absorption requiring higher doses, and Anapen 300 μg achieves high Cmax even in individuals with high STMD.
“The benefits of administering appropriate dose and choosing the [intramuscular] route substantially outweighs the risks,” investigators concluded.1

The former Newcastle United midfielder Nolberto Solano has landed in Pakistan to begin his first assignment as the head coach of the Pakistan national team and the U23 side.
The Peruvian footballer, who also played for West Ham, Aston Villa, and Leicester City, took over the job from English coach Stephen Constantine, who was responsible for Pakistan creating history by qualifying for the second round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in 2023.
Solano will build the team to compete at the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers. They are placed in Group G with Iraq, Cambodia, and Oman.
I’m very honoured to be in Pakistan as the Head Coach of the U23s and Senior team,” Solano said in a press release issued by the PFF. “We believe in the talent of our players, and I am here to show what we can achieve together.”
It’s no easy job, but we must work hard on and off the pitch. Our immediate focus is the AFC U23 qualifiers in Cambodia. We need to be strong mentally, bring our best players, and play with purpose. It would be a great moment for the country to qualify.”
In a PFF Instagram post, Solano also gave a brief over view of his playing career, highlighting he shared the pitch with the football great, Diego Maradona, and he shed light on hist ambitions as a coach with Pakistan national sides.
Solano visited the Football House in Lahore and was received by the Acting General Secretary of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar. During his visit, Solano also met with the PFF staff.
I think this is a historic moment for the football of Pakistan,” Khokhar told The Express Tribune. “Nolberto Solana not only carries a legacy as a world-class player and coach, but he thoroughly comprehends the process of team building and developing.
Additionally, he is super passionate about making Pakistan’s presence noticeable on the global competitive stages.”
However, when asked about what led to the switch from Constantine to Solano, Khokhar had very few words to add.
Solano will start with U23 because that was the event that was upcoming; he will later train the national team. As for Constantine, there really is nothing to comment on; he served well, and he completed his contract,” said Khokhar.
Solano, on the other hand, also extended his gratitude to the PFF president. “I want to thank Syed Mohsen Gilani for this opportunity. I’m looking forward to contributing to the growth of football in Pakistan.”
PFF President Syed Mohsen Gilani shared his confidence in the new coach, “Coach Solano brings great experience and a strong vision. We believe he can help take Pakistan football forward and build a competitive team.”
The national team’s training camp for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers began on August 14 in Abbottabad.
A total of 50 players were initially selected through tryouts, and they later participated in the training camp, with the preliminary squad names being issued on August 14. The final 23-member squad will be announced at a later stage.
As part of the qualifiers, Pakistan will play first match against Iraq on September 3, followed by a game against host nation Cambodia on September 6. The team will conclude the group stage with a match against Oman on September 9.
Farhan Akhtar is responding to the comments made by Naseeruddin Shah about his acting and films. Farhan and Naseeruddin shared screen space in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaraa, where Farhan played the veteran actor’s son. In an interview with Galatta Plus, Farhan has now reacted to how he felt about the critical comments made by Naseeruddin and why he did not feel the need to reach out afterwards.
Farhan Akhtar spoke about Naseeruddin Shah’s comments on his acting.
What Farhan said
When the host asked about whether he reached out to Naseeruddin regarding his critical comments on his acting, Farhan said no and elaborated why. “I have been doing films for 25 years. There are certain actors, directors, and writers who I have known, and they have debuted maybe 10 years after me. If there is something in their work that I feel, from my observation, that this could be better or that I have this piece of advice to give them… genuinely I would pick up the phone and call them. Or say I would like to meet you and sit down and have a conversation with a person who I care about in a sensitive way because you are going into somebody’s creative process, and giving them constructive feedback from your point of view,” he said.
He could have called me to discuss it, says Farhan
Farhan then went on to add, “But it has to be done with a certain degree of love, and a certain degree of respect for the other person. I felt that it didn’t come from that place. I just felt it was just like a statement just theown out publicly. I felt that then this person doesn’t respect you… so why should I reach out to a person who doesn’t respect me? It was very clear to me that if he really did genuinely feel that… he knows my dad, Shabana, my mom and me… we worked together in ZNMD, so it would have been the easiest thing for him to say that I want to speak to you, why don’t you come over!”
For the unversed, in a 2013 interview with The Times of India, Naseeruddin had said, “Farhan Akhtar’s films I clearly don’t care for. I liked his first film, Dil Chahta Hai. He’s a tremendous person and has so many facets to him. Tomorrow I won’t be surprised if I hear that he cooked a 10 course meal to perfection. He sings, acts, produces films and writes. I think it’s great he’s doing whatever he can. I’m not a great fan of his acting or his films. But I admire him.”
About Farhan Akhtar
Farhan is the son of screenwriter Javed Akhtar. He started his career in Bollywood as an assistant director with films such as Lamhe in 1991 and Himalay Putra in 1997. Since then, he has directed Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don, and acted in Rock On!, Luck By Chance, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Dil Dhadakne Do. He will be seen next in 120 Bahadur.
OpenAI has faced a lot of backlash from users after shipping its much-anticipated GPT-5 AI model (touted as the smartest AI model ever) with next-gen capabilities across healthcare sectors, coding, and writing.
Multiple users have blatantly expressed their preference for previous models despite the fact that OpenAI had abruptly decided to deprecate them, including GPT-4o. However, the company recently decided to change this by making these models available again for ChatGPT users.
But unlike before, GPT-5’s predecessors will be buried behind a paywall, meaning you’ll need a $20/month ChatGPT Plus subscription to access them. It’s also worth noting that the AI firm has increased the rate limit for ChatGPT-5 Plus amid backlash from users.
We are significantly increasing rate limits for reasoning for ChatGPT Plus users, and all model-class limits will shortly be higher than they were before GPT-5.
Sam Altman, OpenAI CEO
Perhaps more interestingly, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman recently revealed the “heartbreaking” reason why users are hell-bent on sticking to previous models even after GPT-5 shipped. Speaking to Cleo Abram during an episode of the Huge Conversations podcast, the executive indicated:
“Here is the heartbreaking thing. I think it is great that ChatGPT is less of a yes man and gives you more critical feedback. But as we’ve been making those changes and talking to users about it, it’s so sad to hear users say, ‘Please can I have it back? I’ve never had anyone in my life be supportive of me. I never had a parent tell me I was doing a good job.’”

So, the ChatGPT maker’s CEO seems to think users are fixated on previous versions of GPT-5, specifically GPT-4o, because they’ve never had anyone support them before, potentially highlighting how emotionally independent some users are to these AI tools.
The executive further disclosed that some users admitted that ChatGPT’s previous model had encouraged them to make positive changes to their lives. “I can get why this was bad for other people’s mental health, but this was great for my mental health,” Altman echoed some sentiments shared by some users about the model change.

As you may remember, OpenAI rolled out a new update for ChatGPT in April, which seemingly made the tool “overly flattering and agreeable,” prompting some users to suggest that it was exhibiting sycophantic tendencies. Consequently, OpenAI decided to roll back the update. Sam Altman admitted that the update had made ChatGPT’s user experience “too sycophant-y and annoying.”

Admittedly, ChatGPT ships with a handful of helpful features designed to make work easier and can even help people navigate day-to-day life experiences. More recently, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman openly admitted that he was worried about the youth’s emotional over-reliance on ChatGPT:
“People rely on ChatGPT too much. There’s young people who say things like, ‘I can’t make any decision in my life without telling ChatGPT everything that’s going on. It knows me, it knows my friends. I’m gonna do whatever it says.’ That feels really bad to me.”
“Something about collectively deciding we’re going to live our lives the way AI tells us feels bad and dangerous,” added Altman. In a separate report, Sam raised concerns about the high degree of trust people have in ChatGPT despite its tendencies to hallucinate and outrightly generate inaccurate responses to queries. “It should be the tech that you don’t trust that much,” he added.
Elsewhere, the executive indicated that ChatGPT is a better therapist than most professionals in the field across the world, but revealed that he wouldn’t trust the tool with his medical fate unless a medical doctor is in the fold to oversee the process.
Earlier this year, a study by Microsoft revealed that an overreliance on AI tools like ChatGPT and Copilot could make you dumber by atrophying critical thinking, which leads to the deterioration of your cognitive faculties.
