Superstar Rajinikanth completes 50 years in the Indian film industry today, and fans of the star set to celebrate him stardom by catching the first day first show of his film Coolie on August 14.
Ahead of the release, fans are taking to social media to celebrate the actor. Among them is Coolie director Lokesh Kanagaraj. He penned a sweet note for the megastar as he completed 50 years of acting.

On August 13 actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin has heaped praise on Rajinikanth’s Coolie and stated that he enjoyed the film. Udhayanidhi called it a “power-packed mass entertainer” that will “capture the hearts of audiences everywhere.”
He also wished success to the cast and crew of Coolie and congratulated the Rajinikanth for completing 50 “glorious years” in the film industry. Replying to his post, Lokesh Kanagaraj thanked him and said, “Feeling elated to know that you loved the film sir, thank you so much for this.”
