“I am proud and humbled to be named as the Hunter New England Local Health District Staff Member of the Year. It is a great honour to receive this award for the cardio-oncology program that our team has set up and expanded over the last 8 years, despite the challenges of COVID.

I would like to acknowledge that it is a team effort, and without the fantastic team, none of this could have been possible!

Our Cardio-Oncology Program is co-led by Doan Ngo, nursing lead, Trent Williams – thank you for your nomination!, current and past post-docs and students Tatt Jhong Haw, Amanda Croft, Joshua D. Bennetts, Kelly Chen, Conagh Kelly, clinical fellows Lloyd Butel-Simoes and Jie Yu, cardiology and cancer clinicians with special thanks to James Lynam, Wojt Janowski, Jarad Martin and many others, nurses and allied health staff and, most importantly, all our patients, who help us shape the program to benefit our communities!”
