After playing with everyone’s hearts in April, Hasan Raheem seems to have quietly tied the knot in a very real wedding. The star hasn’t said anything official yet — and we’re not sure if we’d believe him after he cried wolf last time — but pictures and videos coming from various sources appear to confirm that he is ‘officially’ off the market. He’s also liked some videos of his apparent wedding festivities.
In a video that has since amassed almost 48,000 likes, Decor Edit, one of the vendors for the event, posted a clip from the festivities with the text, “POV: It’s Hasan Raheem’s nikkah and you’re one of the decorators”. In the video, you can spot Raheem wearing all white — white shalwar kameez paired with a white waistcoat and a white shuqa overcoat with traditional floral embellishments. His outfit is completed with a traditional cap worn in Hunza and Gilgit called the parxin with a peacock feather in it.
Another video captioned “Hasan Raheem’s Mehndi Decor” saw the groom sporting a similarly traditional outfit. The mehndi artist for the event also shared a video of their work for the bride — whom they called Raheem’s “Rapunzel”. The design, they said, was initially created for the nikkah and later redone in time for the mehendi.
A clip posted by musician Salman Paras shows Raheem vibing to Paras’ song ‘Karay Karay’ at his mehndi as guests applaud and whistle. Another reel from the band Guftaar shows them performing Raheem’s song ‘Aisay Kaisay’ at the event as he joins in.
A post from the music group Shaam e Mastana showed a series of pictures and videos from the mehndi, including a couple of the ‘Joona’ singer singing and dancing. There were several celebrity guests at the event, including Ahmed Ali Akbar, Momina Mustehsan, Uzair Jaswal, Umair, Taha G and Ameer Gilani.
There was also a super fun video of Raheem and his squad dancing to ‘Joona’.
In case anyone missed it, Raheem put up a cryptic post on Instagram in April saying that he had gotten married and asking the press not to share any photos or videos from the event. The post had the singer in full wedding gear, seated next to a bride. The picture later turned out to be from behind the scenes of a music video.
This time, it seems the pictures are a little more real. As we eagerly await Raheem’s own announcement, we’d like to congratulate him and wish him the very best in this new chapter of his life!
