Get Full Text Research (GetFTR) has strengthened its network by integrating with three new discovery platforms and expanding partnerships with existing publishers to improve researchers’ access to full-text content.
The service has added integrations with Article Galaxy, Piri Discovery Service, and Chemport, while Edinburgh University Press and the Geological Society of London have expanded their use of GetFTR by incorporating indicators and smartlinks into their article references.
These developments aim to reduce barriers for researchers seeking full-text access to scholarly content by creating more direct pathways from discovery tools and reference lists to entitled content.
Article Galaxy, Research Solutions’ cross-disciplinary research platform, joins the network alongside Inseres’ Piri Discovery Service, which helps researchers navigate relevant publications. The third new integration, Chemport, represents CAS’s chemistry-focused linking platform that supports STNext, the company’s scientific IP information platform for chemical research communities.
The expanded publisher partnerships see Edinburgh University Press, known for its humanities and social sciences focus, and the Geological Society of London, which publishes geoscience content, both integrating GetFTR into their reference sections to streamline discovery processes.
“We’re thrilled to see our network grow and evolve,” said Dianne Benham, Product Director at GetFTR. “These integrations ensure that more researchers can move quickly from discovery to full-text access, supporting a faster, more efficient research journey.”
The additions reflect GetFTR’s ongoing efforts to create seamless pathways between research discovery and content access, addressing a persistent challenge in scholarly research workflows.
