Samsung One UI 8 rollout schedule leaks for Galaxy phones

While One UI 8 is already available on some Samsung Galaxy devices, a new schedule finally offers some insight as to when the company will be rolling out the Android 16 update to more of its catalog.

If you have a modern Galaxy phone, the company’s take on Android 16 will arrive at some point. But Samsung’s update schedule can certainly vary – and by quite a lot – from device to device.

A schedule from Samsung has surfaced an early schedule for the rollout of One UI 8 and Android 16 for a large list of Galaxy devices, giving us an idea of what to expect in the coming months. These dates will likely vary between regions, and are claimed to mostly focus on Asia.

That said, here’s the list as it stands today (via SammyGuru):

Motorola Unveils Moto G06 and G06 Power with Massive 7,000 mAh Battery

Motorola has expanded its G-series lineup with two new models, the Moto G06 and the Moto G06 Power. The highlight is the G06 Power, which carries the company’s largest battery yet at 7,000 mAh.

Motorola claims this battery can deliver up to 28 hours of video playback on one charge. It also promises 80% battery health retention even after 1,000 charge cycles. However, charging remains limited to just 18W.

The standard Moto G06 is more modest, offering a 5,200 mAh battery with 10W charging. While smaller, it still promises extended daily use.

According to the source, both phones share identical hardware beyond their batteries. Each features a 6.88-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Brightness reaches up to 600 nits, and Gorilla Glass 3 provides screen protection.

  • BCCI’s Verdict On IND-PAK Asia Cup Game Is A Bittersweet Pill To Swallow: ‘Countries Which Are Not Friendly…’ | Cricket

BCCI’s Verdict On IND-PAK Asia Cup Game Is A Bittersweet Pill To Swallow: ‘Countries Which Are Not Friendly…’ | Cricket

BCCI secretary Devajit Saika has confirmed that the government has not restricted India from playing countries that aren’t on friendly terms with India in multinational events. The remarks come amidst outrage over India playing Pakistan during the Asia Cup. Notably, India-Pakistan ties are at an all-time low following the Pahalgam attack, and there are calls to boycott Pakistan at global events. India and Pakistan are set to lock horns on September 14 in Dubai.

The central government earlier this month confirmed that Indian athletes can play against Pakistan in multinational events, but there will be no bilateral sporting ties between the two countries. Saika said that the board will follow the guidelines of the government and play Pakistan in the Asia Cup. The statement is seen as the board’s final verdict on the controversy, leaving the fans with a bittersweet feeling.

“So far as the BCCI’s view is concerned, we have to follow whatever the central government formalises. Recently, our policy, which is in place, regarding India’s participation in any multinational tournament or international tournament, there is no restrictions imposed by the central government whether we play any of the countries which are not on good terms with India. So India have to play all the matches in any multinational tournament,” Saikia told exclusively to ANI.

“As the ICC Cup is a multinational tournament involving the countries of the Asia continent, so we have to play. And also, for any ICC tournament, when there is a country which is not on friendly terms with India, we have to play in the international tournaments. So far as bilateral is concerned, we are not going to play with any of our hostile countries,” he added.

‘India Could Face Sanctions If They Boycott Pakistan’

Saikia further highlighted the sanctions India can face if they boycott Pakistan in global events. “So we are following the policy framed by the government of India, the Youth and Sports Development Department. So, the policy we are following we are totally in alignment with the policy framed by the central government. And for that, BCCI will have to do it. And we are very happy to follow the policy. And that policy is very nicely done, taking into consideration not only cricket, but also other games,” he said.

“If you think that if India boycotts any of the multinational tournaments hosted by the Asian Cricket Council or the ICC, or if you take any other sports, suppose a FIFA tournament or an AFC tournament or any other, suppose, athletic tournament involving multinational teams, and India is not playing with a particular country, then there may be sanctions against the Indian Federation,” Saikia added.

Michael Cole announces 7-time WWE Champion is returning to SmackDown

WWE WrestlePalooza is shaping up to be one for the history books. The road to the first premium live event on ESPN couldn’t get any better, as Michael Cole has announced the return of the 7-time WWE Champion for SmackDown next week.

Brock Lesnar, who returned at SummerSlam this year, picked up right where he left off on SmackDown this week. He made his presence felt during the United States Championship match between Sami Zayn (c) and John Cena. The two babyfaces were down and out when The Beast Incarnate marched down the ring.

Brock Lesnar pulled the referee out of the ring and delivered an F5 to Sami Zayn before setting his sights on John Cena. He laid out the Cenation Leader with another F5 before walking to the back. Moments later, he told the cameraman backstage that he would see Cena at WrestlePalooza.

Later on in the show, Michael Cole announced that Brock Lesnar would be returning to SmackDown.

“And it’s also the return of the Beast – Brock Lesnar. After his attack on John Cena earlier tonight, he faces Cena two weeks from tomorrow at WrestlePalooza. Brock Lesnar will be on SmackDown live.”

Former WWE head writer shares thoughts on Brock Lesnar’s SmackDown appearance

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s BroDown, Vince Russo said Triple H booked Brock Lesnar on SmackDown to counterprogram the NFL game.

“I think we should start calling Triple H the king of pops. That’s exactly what Triple H is. Bro, look at the way they did it. Bring in Brock at the top, bring in AJ Lee at the bottom, because the NFL is up against us on Friday night. If there is no NFL game tonight, there is definitely no Brock on the show. There may be AJ Lee, but there’s no Brock on the show. So they made a little extra effort because they knew they were against the Kansas City Chiefs, a Friday night football game. It’s the start of the season. Everybody is gonna be watching the game.”

WWE sent the Chicago crowd home happy by bringing back AJ Lee after 10 years on SmackDown.
