Super Junior‘s Leeteuk recently spoke up about the recent dating allegations he was facing.

Previously, it was reported that Leeteuk had been spotted on a “date” with a woman, pro golfer Jang So Hee. An account that shared the post claimed that the pair were in a relationship, and previously shared other “evidence” to support the claims.

Shortly after this, Leeteuk went on a live stream, where he shared that he was aware of the situation and addressed the rumors.

He started by saying he was shocked to see the photos, stating that he shared this with member Shindong. He explained that he and Shindong often go to events at the specific country club, and that there are often other celebrities present who form crews and end up hanging together often.

I saw the photos and was speechless myself because Shindong was sitting beside me at that time, and on his other side his friend was there, too.

Leeteuk then said that he was confused over the photo, which he stated was framed as though he went there alone to meet Jang, who is one of his many golfer friends. He explained that golf is rarely played with just two people, and usually involves a group of at least four and that the location of the photo was a rest area before finishing the last 9 holes.

He also said he was planning on filing a complaint with the golf club, which is meant to be membership only.

I don’t know who snapped the photos and then maliciously made it look like I went out with someone alone. […] I don’t know if a staff member took the photos or who did but the photos looked like we were alone, secluded, and I didn’t have a mask on, just kind of covering my face from the sun. Those modified photos were uploaded. Honestly, I’m very mad. I’m going to file a complaint against the golf club. I will show the photos to the CEO and the manager there and discuss the matter.

One of the pieces of evidence used was Jang wearing a cardigan owned by Leeteuk, which he also explained, saying that after the end of golf gatherings, he usually returns home to shower before rejoining the group. As a result, he may get asked to bring warmer clothing if someone gets cold, which is was happened in this case.

If [the restaurant/location] is close to my place or someone else’s, because I usually don’t shower at the golf club, I would say ‘I’ll head home and shower first.’ Maybe the weather suddenly got chilly, [someone would ask] ‘Please bring a cardigan or something. The pro player is cold.’

Leeteuk then seems to say that he is aware of the person behind the rumors, after previously saying he has been dealing with this for months and that the person is always present when he goes live by himself or is with the members, is is confused about their motives.

I saw what was said and I was like ‘How can someone put two and two together and make up stories?’ I’ve been thinking, I’ve been enduring this for months. […] It’s been nothing but stress. [That person] keeps switching usernames, whenever I go live or do activities with the whole group. That person is always there…and I know who they are. […]It’s been that one person. One.  […]

I’ve thought several times — is this person really my fan? Or does this person want me to make a mistake? What do they want me to do by saying these things? They’re throwing threats here and there. Why? For what?

He also shared that because of this, he and Jang have gotten closer due to him constantly apologizing.

We got even closer because of [that]. Why? Because [she] gets cursed at every day and, of course, I can’t help but feel sorry. ‘Ah, that’s not the case, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.’

Sydney Sweeney interrupted her corseted style streak at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, instead making a case for an oft-maligned Y2K trend during her latest appearance. While attending the Road to the Golden Globes Party on Saturday night, the Euphoria actress gave a sculptural LBD a divisive update.

Posing on the red carpet, Sweeney—who is promoting her upcoming Christy Martin biopic Christy—emphasized her curves with a bodycon black knee-length dress that was anything but boring. The sleeveless dress had a structural bodice with an unusual rounded neckline and a V-shaped detail at her waist, giving the LBD a flared peplum silhouette.

Sweeney has been on a bit of a lingerie-inspired style run, stepping out just hours earlier at a Variety Studio event wearing a NSFW gray tweed suit that took the office siren aesthetic to the next level. The Anyone But You actress showed off her jacket’s ultra-plunging neckline and completely sheer midsection, which got the boudoir treatment thanks to visible boning and sheer mesh material. Meanwhile, at Friday’s Christy premiere, Sweeney wowed in a blush pink corseted silk gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, a structured bodice with boning running down past her hips, and an asymmetrical layered skirt embellished with a red sash that trailed behind her.

Even Donna Langley admits that the “Fast and Furious” crew never should have ventured into zero gravity.

“I’m sorry that we sent them into space,” Langley said of the decision to include a widely panned scene involving a rocket car and the International Space Station in 2021’s “F9.”

“We can never get that genie back,” she added.

Langley offered her mea culpa at the Toronto Film Festival as part of a discussion with Cameron Bailey, the festival’s director. However, Langley, who has plays a key role in guiding the franchise as NBCUniversal Studio Group and Chief Content Officer, said part of the success of the long-running series has been its adaptability. She noted that between 2006’s “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” and 2009’s “Fast & Furious,” the films decided to shake up their creative direction and make them less about racing culture.

“We knew that we had to figure out how to grow it,” Langley said. “We made a conscious decision to pivot to a sort of a globe-trotting heist scenario.”

Langley credited Vin Diesel with having a deep understanding of the core “Fast and Furious” audience, which came from his embrace of social media.

“Vin was an early adopter of talking to his fans directly,” Langley says. “As we saw that growing, and we saw where the conversation was going. We’ve always been very fan first on the ‘Fast’ franchise.”

In some cases, that’s led the “Fast & Furious” team to rethink major character deaths, including the fate of Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty Ortiz.

“[People would] sort of throw out little things about, ‘Oh God, don’t kill Letty,’” Langley said. “OK, we’ll bring her back. ‘She never died. Don’t worry. Nothing to see here.’ But that’s all led by fan engagement.”

The “Fast & Furious” series has been praised for its inclusive approach to casting. That’s something that Langley says came naturally.

“It’s organically inclusive… it was never a conversation,” Langley said. “It has its roots in downtown L.A. and in car culture, which is a domain largely of people of color, of the Hispanic community. It honors and celebrates it in a really beautiful way.”

Variety and Chanel rolled out the red carpet on Saturday night for their annual Women in Film Dinner during the Toronto Film Festival. Shailene Woodley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ethan Hawke, Jessie Buckley, Zachary Quinto and Edgar Ramirez were among the VIP attendees to converge at Soho House for the posh event hosted by Variety co-editor-in-chief Ramin Setoodeh.

Guests in town with TIFF film, including Bob Odenkirk (“Normal”), James McAvoy (“California Schemin’”) and Ben Foster (“Christy”) nibbled on salmon crudo, shogun maitake and branzino as they toasted this year’s recipients of Chanel’s Women Writers’ Network. The year-round program was created to kickstart the careers of women and non-binary alumni of the TIFF Writers’ Studio.

Setoodeh, along with TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey and Chanel Canada CEO Gregoire Collignon, addressed the revelers with speeches that underscored the strides being made by women behind the camera.

“We understand the importance of representation. Everyone who goes to the movies wants to see themselves reflected on the big screen,” Setoodeh said. “So this is really critical work by Chanel. In the six years that we’ve done this event, we have seen first-time screenwriters meet some of the industry’s biggest actors and directors. We’ve seen producers get to know upcoming talent, and we’ve seen connections at this dinner fuel year-round collaborations.”

For Bailey, whose festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary, men must play a role in inclusion efforts in order for them to succeed.

Added Bailey: “Yes, you’re three dudes up here talking about supporting women. But if men don’t support women in film, change does not happen. So we are here because we are committed to the goals of this program. … We are in a celebratory mood. There’s a lot to celebrate over the last five decades of what we do. And part of it is the change that we have made. The evolution we have made in terms of representation. … We are committed to ensure that women and non-binary creators are empowered to lead the future of cinema.”

Woodley, Mbatha-Raw and Buckley are all Chanel brand ambassadors, as were others in attendance like “Couture” director Alice Winocour and stars Anyier Anei and Ella Rumpf, as well as “Franz” actress Katharina Stark and London Rapper Little Simz.

Odenkirk — who was accompanied by his wife, manager Naomi Odenkirk — talked about how he plans to show his “Fargo”-esque dark comedy “Normal” to the law enforcement community. The film, which sees Odenkirk playing a small-town sheriff, will spark conversations about inclusivity. “I know a lot of cops, and I want them to see this movie. It’s important for them to see this type of representation onscreen.”
