Boss “happy” as Llarena Racing opens ERC scoring account

Doubling up as driver and team boss, Llarena piloted his squad’s Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 to seventh place on Rally di Roma Capitale, which marked the 2022 ERC champion’s first taste of driving the Japanese machine.

Thirty-year-old Llarena said “We can say we’re happy with what we’ve achieved. The problem was we just come here, sit in the car and drive. Friday was the first time in the car, I hadn’t done any kilometres with the car, I need to go step by step.

“We can still get more performance by testing a lot of set-ups, but it is what it is. If the rally started next week for sure it would be quite different especially because we have much more info [about the car], which is also really good for our customers.

“Only six months ago we make the team, we have really good mechanics, we have a car with zero problems and that’s our main goal.”

King Charles finally gives Prince Harry the one thing he’s been craving for months

Prince Harry finally hits a new milestone in his relationship with sick King Charles

Prince Harry has finally gotten his sit-down with representatives of King Charles, and reports are claiming it’s the start of a reconciliation between the Spare and his family members across the pond.

For those unversed, this has come after months of radio silence sources claim.

One such source explained that the entire thing was held at the Royal Over-Seas League in London.

They spoke to the Mail on Sunday about this and noted that “there was no formal agenda, just casual drinks.”

Per their findings, the Royal Family seems to have taken only their “first step towards reconciliation between Harry and his father”.

However “at least it is a step in the right direction,” they noted as well.

As of right now it’s believed that “everyone just wants to move on and move forward now,” and it looks as though “it was finally the right time for the two sides to talk.”

A separate insider also touched on a few of the details with HELLO! as well.

They started by expressing how monumental this step is given “there’s been no channel of communication open for a long time”.

But “there is now, so this could be the start of better times ahead,” they admitte.d

Copper tools in Minecraft: Features, uses, and more | Esports News

Minecraft has officially announced its new Fall game drop 3 in 2025 soon. The update is mainly focused on copper; it will allow players to now craft tools, armor, and more with copper. The copper tools will help early-game players to use them as an alternative to stone. Although the attacking power of copper is the same as the stone, in terms of durability and mining speed, the copper performs much better than the stone tools, and additionally, players can also craft armor with copper. This guide will provide players with complete information about copper tools and armor in Minecraft, which will help them improve their experience in Minecraft.

Complete guide on Copper tools and Armor in Minecraft

In the past, when players used to spawn, the first thing everyone used to do was collect wood and make wooden tools through which they could progress, and the very next step was to find stone blocks, and mining them would directly drop stone, which players could convert into tools. After stone tools The next upgrade was iron tools, which requires players to find raw iron and convert it into ingots, where each iron block is only one raw iron. But once the new update drops, the players can consider copper tools before iron. Even though their power is equivalent to stone tools, finding copper is much easier than finding iron in Minecraft and each block of copper veins drops 2 raw copper, which is twice the drop rate of iron, making it much easier for the players to collect it. Additionally, the mining speed of copper tools is much more improved compared to stone tools, and they even have better durability.Regardless, players will still prefer to upgrade from stone tools to iron tools. The reason behind that is that despite it being a little harder to find iron compared to copper, crafting iron tools doesn’t require many iron ingots. Additionally, even copper needs smelting, which makes no sense to consider before upgrading to iron tools.

On the other hand, players should prefer copper armor in the early stages of the game, as it is amazing. A full copper armor set only provides 5 armor points; on the other hand, a full iron armor provides 7.5 armor points. Still, having a full copper armor is much easier, as crafting a full iron set will require a total of 24 ingots, which will be more time-consuming and will require more resources to mine and smelt. Instead, players can have copper armor and later can directly upgrade to a full diamond set in the game. The same iron players can use for other tools like weapons, buckets, shears, compasses, and other important items. The new update will really help players with improving the mechanics of the game, as copper will be a very useful element for players to craft armor and golems out of. Copper tools are a mini upgrade of stone tools, but it is advised to stick to stone tools and directly upgrade to iron tools.

  • Fireball and probable meteorite fall in Scoltand on July 2nd

Fireball and probable meteorite fall in Scoltand on July 2nd

What a show! On July 2nd, 2025, 23h 50min UT (which equals July 3rd, 00h 50min BST) a dramatic fireball enlighted Scottish skies and was reported by nearly 150 people all over Great Britain and Ireland (Event #3666-2025, Figure 1). From recordings, meteorites must survive the atmospheric entry of the big meteoroid, but first prospections on the theoritical strewn field show their recovery will be complicated.

A fireball as bright as the Full Moon widely observed from United Kingdom and Ireland

Happy were the people located in United Kingdom and Ireland looking at the sky on July 2-3 night! On July 2nd, 2025, 23h 50min UT (which equals July 3rd, 00h 50min BST), those skies briefly turned out bright!  A very bright (mag. -12.2 according to UKMON, GMN and Jamie Shepherd team calculations, to compare to -12.6 magnitude of a full Moon!) and long-lasting (more than 12 seconds!) fireball fragmented several times, enlighting its luminous path with very bright flares.  Event was observed and reported by nearly 150 people all over United Kingdom and Ireland (Event #3666-2025, Figure 1), and many people managed to record it on video (Figures 4 & 5, and see below), as well as UK Meteor Network (UKMON), Global Meteor Network (GMN) and Fripon (Fireball Recovery and InterPlanetary Observation Network) video networks did (Figures 2 & 3). Light was so important, that it blinded a lot of cameras during the brightest part of the meteor (Figure 2).

Determining the atmospheric trajectory of the fireball…

Thanks to all these recordings, a UKMON/GMN team leaded by Jamie Shepherd calculated the physical parameters of the meteoroid that was at the origin of the sporadic fireball, as well as its atmospheric trajectory. According to them, the meteoroid, coming from the inner parts of the main asteroid belt (Figure 6)  weighted a bit more than 60 kg before it entered the atmosphere. It entered the Earth atmosphere with a 12.3 km/s (nearly 44 300 km/h) and a 31.3° inclination relative to the horizontal.

The meteor started being visible as it was 97 km above the ground, 15 km West of Hebrides islands (lat. ~ 56.70° N ; lon. ~ 6,70° W). It then travelled on a nearly Eastern trajectory (azimuth ~83°) which measures nearly 120 km, bringing it to shine above the grounds of Scotland, ending its visible path when it was below 25 km in altitude, nearly above Loch Treig (lat. ~ 56.81° N ; lon. ~ 4,77° W, figures 7 & 8).

…to try to located the position and extension of a meteorites strewn field!

From witnesses reports and video recordings, the meteoroid highly fragmented during its atmospheric entry ; some witnesses also reported having heard sonic booms after the display. According to calculations, some kilograms of meteorites could have landed on the ground. Unfortunately, the land access and physical properties of the ground itself make the potential recovery of meteorites very complicated.

Bill Ward, using his own calculated strewn field calculated from visual reports and GMN video recordings, tried to go on site to see if he could by chance find anything. Here is his report of this difficult day clearly showing how harsh the recovery conditions are: “After your email I thought it would be worth a hike…. This proved to be a huge mistake as the terrain was much worse than I thought. Despite the low probability of success (and the estate manager not releasing the code for the main gate so I had to go cross country.) The the high rainfall has left the ground saturated and I couldn’t even get close to the main strewn field (or where I thought it might be). I’ve attached a zip file with two pictures. The first (Figure 9) is a general view of the estimated strewn field, starting just over the rise of ground in the fore ground running half way up the mountain, background left, maybe 5 to 10km. The second (Figure 10) is the type of terrain in the valley of the main fall area.  If anyone recovers any meteorites from this type of ground then they have had immense luck. The closest I got to a fusion crust was finding some animal droppings, either from a deer or a very, very large rabit! After 6 hours I was exhausted and I struggled to cross the wet ground to get back to my car. Sunburned, battered and bruised by falling so often in the swamp with fallen trees, blistered feet, and bitten by bugs, the next meteorite hunt I go on will be if one lands in my back garden! A VERY long day!

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Nail Festival Style For Their Latest Date Night

There are few things as glorious as a perfect summer night spent at a music festival, listening to your favorite artists as the sun sets at golden hour. That’s precisely how Dua Lipa and Callum Turner spent their latest date night together this weekend: The couple hit up BST Hyde Park, a daytime music festival in London, which saw acts like Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young, Noah Kahan, and Sabrina Carpenter perform their own headline shows across multiple weekends. last night saw Stevie Wonder perform on the main stage. Though Lipa could have easily been a headliner on her own accord (she is, after all, a global pop star), she and Turner enjoyed a rare night off—and, naturally, they had to perfect the art of festival style in the process.

Their looks weren’t matchy-matchy per se, but the duo each nailed off-duty festival dressing in a way that reflected their personal style. Lipa sported an oversized graphic tee with denim cut-off shorts, and she elevated the casual look with It girl-worthy accessories—like her leather biker moto boots, and the quilted Chanel 25 bag that she has been wearing nonstop this summer. (She was the face of the bag in the official campaign, after all.) Turner, meanwhile, went classic and all-white in his knit polo shirt and chino trousers, and finished off the look with brown suede shoes.

  • Brenda, 95, and her soft toys become unlikely stars on TikTok | TikTok

Brenda, 95, and her soft toys become unlikely stars on TikTok | TikTok

The anger and polarisation often on display on social media have made it a stressful place to venture for many people, wary of its unpredictable pile-ons and bile-filled responses. Yet a 95-year-old Cheshire woman and her soft toy collection have become the unlikely stars of a trend to encourage kindness in the comments.

Brenda Allen said she had been flabbergasted by the response to her recent TikTok videos, in which she talks about her quirky Jellycat figures. Encouraged by a staff member at her care home, she began by showing viewers a hat-wearing avocado named Florence. Her haul also features a cuddly pot plant and a squashy, smiling pain au chocolat.

Her breakthrough video showed a flair for comedy, ending with her observation that her mushroom teddy was “a very fun guy”.

Her videos have now amassed more than 2m views on the site, as well as thousands of comments from people across the world asking if they can adopt her as their social media grandma and calling her a national treasure.

95-year old woman shows her Jellycat collection – video

She has since been sent additions to her collection from Jellycat and John Lewis – and her videos have been reposted by Love Island contestants. The only negativity has come from her budgie, Toto, who isn’t too keen on her cuddly blue tit and robin.

“[The avocado] was my only one for a long time, then, gradually, some people have given me more of them,” Brenda said. “But all of a sudden, after the media thing, I was inundated with people ringing me and wanting to send me toys and everything. It was quite incredible.

“One of the girls asked me to do a video. I didn’t know what it was for, really. She just said would I do a little video for her about jelly cats? So I said yes, and it’s gone from there. It’s gone mad. I’ve had some lovely messages. Everyone thinks I have a nice voice, apparently.”

One of her Majesticare care home’s staff members posted the first video. It referenced the recent “you better be nice in the comments” trend, which has gained momentum as users search for more wholesome content on their timelines.

It began in the US, where creator @yearningyardis posted a video of her boyfriend talking about his pot plants. She tells viewers – in a comically threatening way – that they better “say something nice” about him. That prompted others to make videos about the often eccentric hobbies of their friends and families. One even features a collection of tractor manuals.

Celebrities including Ant and Dec have also become involved. Their video features Dec showing off Ant’s artwork, menacingly ordering commenters to be kind.

Brenda’s daughter, Julie, said the family had been “blown away” by her newfound fame. “We don’t quite understand it, but it’s amazing and it’s lovely,” she said. “What has blown me away is how lovely everybody has been. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything where all the comments are positive.”

Care home residents venturing to the local garden centre have already been asked whether they know Brenda, as word of her notoriety has spread. She is now planning to auction her Jellycat toys and donate the proceeds to a local children’s hospice.

Understandably, however, Brenda is content with only a brief moment of internet fame. “I don’t want to keep it on too long,” she said. “I’m 95, you know.”

The Perseids are coming — here’s how to watch the glorious meteor shower before the moon ruins the show

The annual Perseid meteor display is one of the best-known and commonly observed meteor showers in the Northern Hemisphere. But this year, if you want to enjoy the show, it’s best to get in early.

The Perseids will be active from Thursday, July 17, through Saturday, Aug. 23 and will peak this year on Aug. 12 and 13. But the presence of a near-full moon will make this year’s event disappointing, with only the very brightest shooting stars visible.

  • Expert-Approved High-Fiber Foods to Help Lower Cholesterol

Expert-Approved High-Fiber Foods to Help Lower Cholesterol

    • Eating more fiber can have a positive affect on your cholesterol levels and overall heart health.
    • Experts recommend foods like raspberries, beans, chia seeds and oats.
    • Lifestyle factors, like getting regular exercise and avoiding smoking, can also reduce your risk.

Maintaining healthy cholesterol levels is one of the most effective ways to protect your heart, and the good news is that making simple diet and lifestyle changes can have a significant impact. “When it comes to managing cholesterol, fiber is your best friend, but it’s often missing from the typical American diet,” says Melissa Jaeger, RD, LD. In fact, 95% of U.S. women, and 97% of men, don’t meet the recommended intake of 14 grams of fiber per 1,000 calories eaten. “Instead of focusing on foods to reduce in your diet to manage your cholesterol, consider what nutrients you can add,” says Jaeger, who points to fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains as go-to fiber-rich choices.

Fiber is a type of carbohydrate found in plant food that mostly travels through the digestive system intact. Insoluble fiber helps support regular bowel movements, while soluble fiber plays a crucial role in lowering cholesterol levels. “During digestion, fiber binds to cholesterol particles, moving them out of the body,” says Elizabeth Klodas, M.D., a preventive cardiologist. Some types of fiber may also support healthy cholesterol levels by interacting with the gut microbiome.

Keep reading for six of the best high-fiber foods to support healthy cholesterol levels, backed by experts and evidence.

    Oatmeal

A bowl of oats in the morning may be an effective way to lower your cholesterol. Not only does each cup of cooked oats have 4 grams of fiber, but most of that fiber is soluble fiber, the type that’s especially beneficial to lowering cholesterol.

Beta-glucans in oats possess gel-forming properties that help remove cholesterol from the intestines and also influence gut bacteria, supporting cholesterol reduction through several mechanisms, including the production of short-chain fatty acids.

    Avocado

One-third of an avocado provides 3 grams of fiber. And you don’t have to resort to guacamole to enjoy one, either. Jaeger recommends blending avocado into smoothies, serving it with scrambled eggs and adding a few slices to salads and sandwiches.

One large study found that people with an elevated waist circumference who ate one avocado per day for six months experienced reductions in total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels compared with those who ate their usual diet sans avocado. Researchers believe this effect may be related to avocados’ influence on gut microbiota and their phytosterol content, in addition to the high amount of fiber.

    Chia Seeds

Not only do chia seeds have 9.8 grams of fiber in every ounce, but they’re also an excellent source of other cholesterol-fighting compounds like omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. A review found that eating chia seeds may be especially beneficial for lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol in individuals with obesity or type 2 diabetes.

“Chia seeds also contain fiber, fat and protein that promote satiety and help prevent overeating, which could lead to weight gain and/or prevent loss and raise ‘bad’ cholesterol,” says Christina Badaracco, M.P.H., RDN, LDN. And because chia seeds are so versatile, it’s easy to fit them into your diet. Simply add a spoonful to your smoothie, oatmeal, baked goods or make chia pudding for a treat.

    Raspberries

Most fruits will give your meal or snack a fiber boost, but raspberries take the lead with 8 grams in each cup. An analysis of 11 studies found that eating raspberries may help lower total and LDL cholesterol levels and increase HDL cholesterol in some individuals. Researchers suggest that the combination of anthocyanins, fiber and various polyphenols in raspberries impacts how lipids are digested, absorbed and synthesized, leading to more optimal levels.

Liz McMahon, M.P.H., RDN, recommends pairing them with oatmeal or chia pudding for a fiber-rich breakfast that will keep you full and support a healthy heart.

    Legumes

“Beans and lentils are both good sources of soluble fiber and are affordable, versatile and delicious,” says Lisa Andrews, M.Ed., RD, LD. In a study, consuming 1 cup of canned beans daily for four weeks reduced total and LDL cholesterol levels in adults with high cholesterol. Another recent study found similar effects from eating lentils each day.

Both types of legumes are rich in resistant starch, a type of fiber that is fermented by bacteria in the colon, producing short-chain fatty acids that disrupt lipid metabolism. Add beans and legumes to your meals or use them in place of animal-based proteins to increase fiber and variety in your diet.

    Edamame

“Soy foods are a good source of plant-based protein and fiber, both of which can help stabilize blood sugar, lower cholesterol and promote feelings of fullness,” says Jennifer House, M.Sc., RD, a nutrition consultant for the United Soybean Board. Just 1 cup of edamame has 8 grams of fiber, most of which is soluble.

Edamame’s cholesterol-lowering effects aren’t just thanks to its high fiber content, though. Soy protein may also help lower LDL cholesterol by up to 3% to 4%. This effect is most likely thanks to a specific protein found in soy that inhibits the formation of LDL cholesterol particles in the liver.

Other Strategies to Help Lower Cholesterol

    • Move more: Research supports that adding an extra aerobic session each week, an extra week of exercise or extra time to your current sessions can all support healthier cholesterol levels. ”The greatest benefit of exercise doesn’t come from moving up from running half-marathons to full marathons, it comes from doing something when you used to do nothing,” encourages Klodas.
    • Get your numbers checked: Klodas recommends getting your cholesterol (along with blood sugar and blood pressure) checked on a routine basis, because you can’t necessarily feel when these numbers are higher than they should be.
    • Replace saturated fats with unsaturated fats: While there are some cardiovascular benefits associated with full-fat dairy, which is often high in saturated fat, the benefits do not outweigh the replacement of saturated fats with unsaturated fat sources when it comes to your cholesterol. Avocados, avocado oil, olive oil, nuts and seeds are all excellent sources of heart-healthy unsaturated fats.
    • Quit smoking (or just don’t start): Compared to nonsmokers, current smokers’ total cholesterol is 3% higher on average and triglycerides are up to 15% higher, along with an increased risk of heart disease and stroke.

    Our Expert Take

Eating more fiber from whole plant foods can have a significant impact on your cholesterol levels and heart health. Foods like oats, raspberries, beans and chia seeds are easy to include in everyday meals and snacks. Pairing these foods with other healthy lifestyle changes like regular exercise, replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats, getting your numbers checked regularly and avoiding cigarettes can support a healthy cardiovascular system.
