After 5+ years of development, Ezra is finally ready to embark on his disastrous journey to save humanity and restore order to the Nestrium. He’ll face bombastic bosses and solve mind-melting puzzles, using the GIGASWORD’s immense weight to shape his path. The sword isn’t just used for battle, it unlocks doors, activates switches, and more! But beware, the sword’s hefty weight can easily become your greatest tribulation. Will you master this burden, or will its weight doom Ezra’s quest to restore the world’s balance?

Wishlist and play the GIGASWORD demo now on Steam!

Balance the weight of the GIGASWORD, battling between brain and brawn in this action-puzzle metroidvania where the might of the sword will determine all. As tensions rise in Thoenhart, a city plagued by famine and disease, the humans within set their hopes on a final solution: invade the ancient tower Nestrium, slay the Nocturne, and take the God Crystal, Gnosis, for themselves.

Said to grant prosperity to those who wield it, Gnosis has been long sought after by humanity for generations. However, upon raiding its resting place, the disturbance of this ancient power awakens an evil capable of destroying the very fabric of reality. Can Ezra reach the top of the Nestrium in time to stop this cataclysm, or will humanity’s ignorance lead the world to its doom?

    Features:

    • Balance the Weight – The sword may be perfect for combat but you’ll find slaying isn’t its only use. Unlock doors, weigh down pressure plates, and push blocks as you ground your blade, traversing by foot, relieving yourself momentarily, the weight of the blade.
    • Olden Secrets – With cataclysm at the doorstep, unearth the twisting forgotten halls of the Nestrium. Hidden secrets lurk behind every nook, cranny, and hole in the wall, with only you to discover the wealth that lies within.
    • Curb Demonic Ruination – Hack, slash, and dodge through ruthless demons, corrupted bosses, and bloodlusting fiends landing the killing blow, sending them back to the underworld.
    • Adapt, Innovate, Evolve – As you’re forced through nefarious traps, deathly drops, and seemingly invincible foes, discover new abilities to aid in your journey such as Thunder Bolts, Crawling Sparks, Grappling Hooks, and much more.
    • For Famine and Family – Humans are on death’s front door and they curse the heavens, looking to the Nestrium for their salvation. The God Crystal, Gnosis, safeguarded by the Nocturne is a chance at prosperity. It’s up to Ezra to keep the balance… and bring peace to all!

  • Tour de France Daily | Stage 14 | Ben Healy races back into the top ten on GC

Tour de France Daily | Stage 14 | Ben Healy races back into the top ten on GC

Harry Sweeny joined our team in 2024 and quickly became a key rider for us in the classics and grand tours. This is the Australian’s fifth season as a pro.

Harry is still discovering his limits as a racer. As a U23, he won Il Piccolo Lombardia and has since ridden the Tour de France, where, as a rookie, he finished third on a stage and rode onto the Champs-Élysées in the break, as jets trailed bleu, blanc, et rouge streaks into the sky overhead. He has raced Paris-Roubaix in the wet and Liège-Bastogne-Liège alongside his friend, the former winner and cycling legend, Philippe Gilbert. Last year, he finished seventh on GC at the Tour of Luxembourg after riding hard for his teammates all season. Harry believes that his best is yet to come.

He came to cycling late. As a kid growing up in Brisbane, where his family moved when he was a child, he played soccer and rugby and did gymnastics and swam. He took up triathlon as a schoolboy, but focused on cycling when he was a junior and was recovering from a running injury. He started out racing local crits. His athleticism soon shone and he was picked to race the world championships in Richmond, Virginia for the Australian national team.

He moved to Europe to race, first for a small junior team in Belgium, and then for two years with the Australian Institute of Sport squad, which was then based in Italy, before moving back to Belgium for his final year as an U23. Those years opened up new worlds for Harry.

EF Education-EasyPost’s open-minded international character is a big draw for him. On the teams he has raced for in the past, he has often been one of the few foreigners. Our team is made up of riders and staff from dozens of nationalities. Most of them know what it is like to build a life far from home and can help with all of the little difficulties that come with that. Our multicultural make up helps us to expand our outlook and think beyond traditional ways of doing things too.

Harry is a lot more than a bike racer. He is a keen cook and he loves to go camping and hiking with his girlfriend, an environmental scientist, near their adopted home in Andorra. In the winter, he loves to ski. And he is a YouTuber.

This summer, Harry will return to the Tour de France in EF Education-EasyPost pink. We know that we can always count on him to be where we need him to be when it counts – and to bring a laugh to the bus.

Q-TWiST Analysis Builds on LITESPARK-005 Efficacy of Belzutifan in ccRCC

The enhanced tolerability of belzutifan (Welireg) in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) compared with everolimus (Afinitor) could make it an attractive option for this patient group, according to Thomas Powles, MBBS, MCRP, MD.

Results from the quality-adjusted time without symptoms or toxicity (Q-TWiST) analysis of the phase 3 LITESPARK-005 trial (NCT04195750) showed the mean Q-TWiST of 17.47 months in the belzutifan arm and 14.81 months in the everolimus) arm.

The sensitivity analysis assessed grade 1 to 4 serious adverse effects with a mean Q-TWiST of 17.50 months vs 15.03 months in the belzutifan vs everolimus arms, respectively. There was a Q-TWiST gain of 10.50% in this analysis.

CancerNetwork® spoke with Powles, a professor of genitourinary oncology, lead for Solid Tumor Research, and director of Barts Cancer Institute at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, Queen Mary University of London, regarding these results he presented at the 2025 Kidney Cancer Research Summit (KCRS).

    Transcript:

The story behind belzutifan, so far, is an agent that has been developed in 2 areas that are contrasting with each other. No. 1 is VHL-driven disease, and that disease has shown that renal tumors can be put into remission regression associated with belzutifan, preventing surgery on primary renal tumors. That’s important for patients. In the other extreme, in metastatic clear cell renal cancer, we go all the way where it’s been developed very late, third or fourth line, in many cases. Those 2 are very different from each other. The development of the disease, the VHL disease, and how that relates to patients who are very heavily pre-treated, is quite complicated. It’s probable, or even likely, that if we use belzutifan earlier in the disease process, it will work better. What we’ve shown with this Q-TWiST analysis is not only that it is more active than everolimus, but it appears to be, from a quality-of-life perspective, and a time-dependent quality of life analysis, to be better tolerated, making it an attractive [option].

  • Apple Roadmap Offers M5 MacBook Pro Release Dates

Apple Roadmap Offers M5 MacBook Pro Release Dates

Apple’s iPhone has long had a steady cadence of releases, far more constant than the Mac portfolio. The last few years have felt like a similar annual update was being put in place, yet Apple’s current roadmap is patchy at best, and MacBook Pro supporters may have to wait longer than they hoped.

    MacBook Pro Launch Date

The team at Apple Insider has laid out a potential Mac roadmap for 2025 and 2026. With 15 products on the list, it is a comprehensive look deep into 2026. That includes the highly anticipated M5 MacBook Pro and M5 MacBook Air.

What the roadmap lacks is exact dates. For example, the M5 MacBook Pro release is listed as late 2025 and covers three models (presumably the MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro Max, and MacBook Pro Max). That could easily fit a mid-to-late October date that many felt Apple was using as the annual anchor. It could also coincide with a later launch in mid- to late-November, which would potentially result in only a handful of laptops being sold in December, with the bulk of retail devices arriving in January 2026.

MacBook Pro First, MacBook Air To Follow

Unlike the first Apple Silicon M series MacBooks, which saw the MacBook Air lead off the new hardware, the M5 series will start with the late-2025 MacBook Pro models. The consumer-focused M5 MacBook Air models are expected to arrive in the first half of 2026, with March the likely window for the macOS laptop to arrive.

Both the 13-inch and 15-inch variants are expected to arrive simultaneously.

    MacBook Pro Refresh

The M5 MacBook Pro and M5 MacBook Air models will bring more power to the platform thanks to the updated Apple Silicon M-Series chipsets, but for many Apple fans the rela update comes not with these two laptops, but with the laptops to follow.

The MacBook models slated to use the M6 chipsets are also slated to bring in the new hardware additions and redesign that many are waiting for. This includes the eagerly anticipated move away from the current LCD display to a more vibrant and power-efficient OLED display… a display option that high-end Windows laptops have offered for many years.

The M6 MacBooks are also expected to herald a redesign of the laptop itself with a chassis designed to be both thinner and lighter compared to the current models. Given this will line up with the 20th anniversary, it’s a good moment to reinvigorate the brand and reinforce the place it has in Apple’s portfolio.

The MacBook Pro Needs A Heart

In all this, there’s one important piece of the jigsaw missing… Apple has yet to announce the M5 chipset. While there are many signs that it is coming (not least tucked away in the developer betas of macOS 26, the physical chip is nowhere to be seen. Last year’s M4 was announced in early summer, but that anniversary has been and gone.

That’s a delay of the M5 chipset to go alongside the delay of the MacBook Pro. Far from the 12-month cycle that the iPhone has, the M4 to M5 generation is looking more like an 18-month window to reach the mid-cycle upgrade.

Now read the latest MacBook Pro, iPhone, and Apple TV headlines in Forbes’ weekly news digest from Cupertino…

  • Tyler, the Creator’s New Album Releases on Monday

Tyler, the Creator’s New Album Releases on Monday

Tyler, the Creator will release his next album, Don’t Tap the Glass on Monday, July 21.

On Friday night, during a Barclays Center show in Brooklyn, New York, the rapper shouted out the album title while performing. There was also an installation that recreated the album cover, featuring its title.

He later confirmed the news of a new album with an Instagram post, which shows the release date on Saturday morning. Don’t Tap the Glass is set to be Tyler’s ninth studio album. In October 2024, he dropped Chromakopia, which featured Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, Daniel Caesar, Doechii, GloRilla, LaToiya Williams, Lola Young, Santigold, Schoolboy Q and Teezo Touchdown.

The Flower Boy singer released Chromakopia on a Monday, which means Don’t Tap the Glass, from Columbia Records, is his second album in a row to do so, going against the industry standard midnight Friday drop.

In a 2023 Nardwuar interview, Tyler explained why he was interested in releasing music early in the week. “I think we should put music out again on Tuesdays instead of Fridays, for some reasons,” he said. “My reasoning is, I know people think because of the weekend, they can listen to stuff and the streams go up. And the streaming people are like, ‘Oh, the streams go up on the weekend!’ But I think it’s a lot of passive listening, at parties or people get the time to go to the gym, so they’re not really listening.”

Earlier this year, Tyler also wrapped filming on Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme. The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow and will be Tyler’s feature film acting debut. It releases from A24 on Christmas Day.

  • Young Armenian artistic gymnasts excited about first FISU Games

Young Armenian artistic gymnasts excited about first FISU Games

Hamlet Manukyan, a 17-year-old Armenian artistic gymnast, debuted in the sport at the age of five, encouraged by his father. Coming from an athletic family – his cousin Hayk Manukyan is a European champion in wrestling – Hamlet grew up in the small town of Apaga, about an hour from the capital city of Yerevan, and had to travel daily for training.

While balancing school and gymnastics, Hamlet had his breakthrough in 2023 becoming junior world champion on pommel horse and rings.

Earlier this year, competing at the senior level for the first time, he won gold medals on pommel horse at the FIG World Cups in Osijek, Doha, and Cairo. In May, he was crowned European champion on the same apparatus in Leipzig, Germany.

“It’s definitely challenging to balance sports with college, but we try our best to keep up with our classes. We make up for any gaps by reading more and staying focused on our studies,” said the student from the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture.

Now, Hamlet is excited to represent his country at the FISU Games alongside his best friend, Mamikon Khachatryan.

“In the past, there were a lot of injuries, but now we’ve grown. As adults, we’re able to win medals for our country, and that makes us incredibly proud. We work very hard to perform at our best. We’ve been preparing for these competitions for a long time, and we’re ready. Let’s see how everything turns out.”

    Rising star

Khachatryan, 18, is also a student at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture. He started gymnastics at the age of five as well with the support of his mother. Like his friend and teammate, this year marks his debut in the senior category.

In 2023, he won silver on pommel horse at the Junior World Championships, finishing just behind Manukyan. Earlier this year, he added more medals to his collection, silver at the European Championships in Leipzig and gold at the Tashkent World Challenge Cup.

About his successful start at the senior level, Khachatryan said: “I am very happy and proud that we were able to win a medal in our very first year. Representing our country and winning medals is an incredible feeling.”

    Friendly rivalry

Outside of sports, Manukyan and Khachatryan are close friends, but when it comes to pommel horse, they become rivals. Still, that rivalry never affects their friendship.

“Above all, we are friends first, then competitors. We support each other a lot. When he achieves something, I am there for him, and he does the same for me. Friendship always comes first,” Manukyan said.

“Outside of sports, we are friends but in competition, we are rivals,” added Khachatryan. “Still, that doesn’t stop us from supporting each other and maintaining a good relationship. First of all we are friends on the first floor, competitors on the second.”

The two students-athletes start competition on Tuesday, 22 July, with high hopes of standing on the podium once again — this time at the FISU Games – especially on their favorite apparatus, the pommel horse.

The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games take place from 16-27 July. Watch all the competitions live on fisu.tv. Click on the link to find the full schedule.

5 terrorists killed, 8 arrested in Malakand CTD operation: local official – Pakistan

At least five terrorists were killed, two others were injured and eight were arrested in an operation carried out by police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Malakand district on Saturday evening, according to a local official.

Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities over the past year, especially in KP and Balochistan, after the proscribed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ended its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.

Dargai tehsil Assistant Commissioner Waheedullah Khan told Dawn.com that a major operation was carried out in the Mehrday area of Malakand today.

“Police and CTD took part in the successful operation,” the AC said. “Five terrorists were eliminated and two were injured while eight were captured alive.”

The AC added that the arrested terrorists were transported to the CTD centre, while the injured were moved to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Dargai.

The Dargai AC confirmed to Dawn.com that the terrorists belonged to the TTP and were behind attacks in the region.

Earlier today, nine terrorists were killed and three security officers were injured in an exchange of fire during an operation in KP’s Hangu district, police said.

“Nine terrorists killed in Hangu operation, District Police Officer (DPO) Khalid Khan is undergoing treatment at the Kohat Combined Military Hospital,” a statement issued by Kohat Regional Police Officer Deputy Inspector General Abbas Majeed read.

“The operation is continuing successfully and full action is being taken against the terrorists,” the statement added. It further read that DPO Khan was out of danger.

Pakistan ranked second in the Global Terrorism Index 2025, with the number of deaths in terrorist attacks rising by 45 per cent over the past year to 1,081. KP has seen an increasing trend of terrorism-related incidents.

Faced with increasing attacks by militants, security forces have also intensified counterterrorism operations in KP and Balochistan.

Earlier this week, three “wanted terrorists” were killed during a joint operation between the regional police and the CTD in Bannu district.

Hada to Start 26th and Kunii 27th for the Cz…

Day two in Brno is complete, with both sessions held in dry conditions. The track improved throughout the day, and so did the lap times. Both of our riders made progress. Yuki Kunii was still struggling a bit with the bike’s feeling, but we managed to take a step forward in qualifying.
Taiga, unfortunately, suffered a technical issue during the last Free Practice which limited his track time this morning. Luckily, we were able to solve the problem before qualifying, and he was able to complete the session without further issues.
Of course, more dry track time would have helped both riders build confidence, and position-wise we are not where we wanted to be. Yuki also mentioned a small mistake in his final time attack that cost him a better grid spot.
Still, we saw clear steps forward on both sides of the garage. Now we will focus on further improvements for the race. The goal is to fight for points tomorrow — and we believe both riders are capable of that.

‘Miracle’ five years since Birmingham twins’ Covid coma birth

All four of them are smiling. A plant is behind the man's right shoulder. Curtains behind them are grey and have white stars on them.BBC

Dr Perpetual Uke and husband Matthew marked five years since their twins were born

A doctor whose twins were delivered prematurely while she was in a coma says the five years since have been like a series of “miracles unfolding”.

Dr Perpetual Uke, a rheumatology consultant at Birmingham City Hospital, was placed into an induced coma after catching Covid-19 before her twins were delivered by Caesarean section at 26 weeks on 10 April 2020.

She came around 16 days later, convinced her twins were dead, before hospital staff told her they were alive.

The twins turned five in April and both have learned to walk and talk, which Dr Uke said was something she “cherished”.

“I just hope for the best because everything about it has been miracles unfolding, just like how you turn the pages of your book,” she said.

Dr Uke said she had been at high-risk of becoming seriously ill with Covid but continued to work during the pandemic because she felt a duty of care to her patients.

After catching the disease, she was admitted to the hospital’s critical care unit, placed on a ventilator and put in an induced coma to help her recover.

Perpetual Uke A woman with long brown hair and wearing a white top with a floral pattern, smiles as she sits on a dark grey sofa. Dr Uke said she hoped for the best for her twins, pictured here at aged one

When they were born, her daughter weighed just 770g (27oz) and her son weighed 850g (30oz).

Dr Uke’s husband Matthew said he had felt conflicting emotions when his children were born.

“If the twins are there – where is my wife? Because by then, it was not certain she was going to come out of her coma,” he said.

“Am I going to have to care for the twins alone? It was a very difficult moment.”

Dr Uke recalled the “surreal” experience of waking and how she had found it difficult to believe her children were alive, until she saw them for the first time.

Despite what her husband described as the “grind” of the past five years, Dr Uke said her outlook had become more positive.

“We are very glad, happy and joyous because of what they’ve achieved and are going to achieve in the future,” she said.

Perpetual Uke A man and woman sit down with their four children - two older and two toddlers. The woman is holding the younger girl while smiling and taking a selfie of all of them. Perpetual Uke

Dr Uke, who also has two older children, struggled to believe the twins were hers when she awoke from her coma

Mr Uke described 2020 as like “being in a dark moment” and 2025 was “like being in the sunshine”.

“We are very happy and we’re very thankful to the NHS, to all the people who cared for them and that continue to care for them,” he said.

“They’re wonderful. Their dedication and passion are off the charts. All the people who work in the NHS – they are special.”

Dr Uke has since written a book about the family’s story called Covid Coma to Twin Birth: Threads of Miracles, which she hoped would help others going through difficult times.

“If you have ever, in any situation in your life, felt the weight of the unknown in a difficult moment, just hold on to hope,” she said.
