  • Revisiting Kylie Jenner’s Most Memorable Fashion Moments, From King Kylie to Front Row

Revisiting Kylie Jenner’s Most Memorable Fashion Moments, From King Kylie to Front Row

Rise and shine: it’s Kylie Jenner’s 28th birthday! Over the 17-plus years since she launched into reality show fame, we’ve watched Jenner grow up before our very eyes. As she’s transformed from spunky kid to a mother herself, Jenner has tried just about every look under the sun.

In the early days of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jenner was wont to wear bold colors and loud prints (see: the coordinating neon pink and zebra outfits she and Kendall wore to Wango Tango in 2008). But over time, an edgier sense of style emerged, largely influenced by the Tumblr-era soft grunge moment. Perhaps her most iconic look of all time (dare I say!), she arrived a the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, hair shorn into turquoise ombré bob, crowning herself “King Kylie.”

A few years later, Jenner began to dip her toe into high fashion. She attended her first-ever Met Gala in 2016, dressed in a glittering Balmain dress by Olivier Rousteing. The following year, she walked the carpet alongside Donatella Versace. In recent years, though, she’s leaned all the way in. Perhaps nothing is more exemplary than her arrival at the Schiaparelli spring 2023 couture show, an enormous faux lion’s head sitting atop her bust. She even flipped the script, trading in he front row seat to close Coperni’s Disneyland Paris show last year.

Here, we revisit Kylie Jenner’s most memorable fashion moments.

  • Who Was Bobby Whitlock? ’70s Music Icon, Founder Of ‘Derek And The Dominos’ Passes Away At 77

Who Was Bobby Whitlock? ’70s Music Icon, Founder Of ‘Derek And The Dominos’ Passes Away At 77

The death of Bobby Whitlock at the age of 77, has sent a shockwave through the rock and roll music industry. He wasn’t just a musician but also an inspiration for many, who rose from his humble beginnings to establish his name in the world. Bobby was also the founder of the band, Derek and the Dominos, who could create only one music album, Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. However, with this one album, the band had one of the best hits of the ’70s.

On August 10, 2025 an official statement revealed that Bobby Whitlock had passed away. As his fans pour condolences and reminisce about his artistry as a musician, here’s a look at the legacy of Bobby Whitlock.

Bobby Whitlock was born to a preacher father in Memphis

Bobby Whitlock was born on March 18, 1948, in Memphis, U.S.A. As a son of a preacher, he would quietly sneak away from his father’s service. Demonstrating a love for music from a young age, Bobby would listen to the lively choir music coming from a nearby Black American church. By his teens, Bobby already had a great expertise with the piano. He also became a regular at the Stax Studios and contributed through singles.

Bobby Whitlock’s time with Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett

After learning all about R & B (Rhythm and Blues) from the maestros at Strax Studios, Bobby left Memphis with the husband and wife music duo, Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett. As a result, he became the first member of the couple’s touring band, Delaney and Bonnie and Friends. This was a turning point in his life, since as a part of this band Bobby met musicians that he would continue to work with all through the ’70s.

Bobby was the keyboardist of the band and also provided vocals. The bassist was Carl Radle, Jim Keltner and Jim Gordon for the drums and a horn section comprising Bobby Keys and Jim Price. Eric Clapton later joined them as a lead guitarist. The band had a successful run, however, after the success, the co-founders, Delaney and Bonnie, started considering themselves ‘big stars’ as per reports. After arguments over money, the ‘Friends’ left the band.

Derek and the Dominos band finally emerged

After the group was disbanded, Bobby Whitlock and Eric Clapton stayed together at the latter’s house. To form another band, they roped in their former Delaney and Bonnie and Friends members. Carl Radle for bass, Jim Gordon for drums, Eric Clapton as lead guitarist and Bobby Whitlock for keyboard. Thus, the Derek and the Dominos band was finally formed. They played for George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass, then went to Miami to record their only album, Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs.

However, soon after the success of the album, the band parted ways. In a 2017 interview with Classic Rock Revisited, Bobby Whitlock recalled the day when the ‘dominos fell’. He stated that they were all doing ‘too much alcohol and drugs’ and amidst that, their Jim Gordon and Eric Clapton got into a tiff. The latter said to the drummer, ‘I’ll never play with you ever again’ and left. Bobby said that Eric actually never again played with Jim until for his solo record. Talking about why the band broke up, the keyboardist said:

“Well, Jim and Eric were having kind of a war and we were all doing too much alcohol and drugs.”

Bobby Whitlock and his wife and music partner, Coco Carmel

Bobby Whitlock tied the knot with Coco Carmel in 2005, after being together for almost six years. They were not just life-partners, but were also bound by their love for music. The musician husband and wife duo wrote, composed and performed songs together. After 11 years of their marriage, Bobby and Coco also renewed their wedding vows in Kerala, India. The couple also had a YouTube channel, Bobby Whitlock & CoCo Carmel where they would post candid videos of themselves. The last video in the channel was posted a year ago and is titled, “Bobby Whitlock receiving His Brass Note on Beale Street Memphis”.

Bobby Whitlock passed away in 77 due to ‘a brief illness’

Bobby Whitlock’s manager confirmed with an official statement to TMZ that the 77-year-old musician passed away after ‘a brief illness’ in his home in Texas while surrounded by family. His wife, Coco, emotionally shared with the media portal how exceptional her husband was and said:

“How do you express in but a few words the grandness of one man who came from abject poverty in the south to heights unimagined in such a short time? My love Bobby looked at life as an adventure taking me by the hand leading me through a world of wonderment from music to poetry and painting. I feel his hands that were so intensely expressive and warm on my face and the small of my back whenever I close my eyes, he is there.”

Condolences to all the loved ones of Bobby Whitlock.

Angelina Jolie cuts off sentimental link to Brad Pitt after family tragedy

Angelina Jolie is preparing to say goodbye to a property that once symbolised a connection to her ex-husband Brad Pitt just days after he faced a heartbreaking family loss.

The Oscar-winning actress and humanitarian is getting ready to sell the historic Los Feliz estate once owned by legendary director Cecil B. DeMille, which she purchased for $24.5 million in 2017, per Page Six. The news comes just a week after the Fight Club star’s mother passed away at age 84.

Built in 1913 and spanning more than 11,000 square feet, the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion boasts four fireplaces, a vast wine cellar, a tea house, manicured gardens, and a pool framed by cascading fountains.

Jolie reportedly spent the pandemic there with her six children and even opened its doors to friends displaced by California wildfires earlier this year.

In a 2021 British Vogue interview, Jolie revealed one of the main reasons she chose the property was its location — just “five minutes away” from the F1 actor, to make co-parenting easier.

But now, months after their divorce was finalised, the sale marks the quiet severing of a sentimental tie.

The former couple’s 2016 split led to an eight-year legal battle over custody and assets. While they reached a settlement last year, they remain embroiled in a dispute over their $500 million French winery, Château Miraval.

  • League of Legends dev engages community with hundreds of tweets in rare week of direct dialogue

League of Legends dev engages community with hundreds of tweets in rare week of direct dialogue

Drew Levin, leader of Product and Strategy on League of Legends, spent a rare slow work week engaging directly with players on social media, responding to hundreds of questions and comments from the community.

Over several days, Levin interacted with streamers, content creators, and casual players alike, discussing the state of the game, addressing concerns, and offering transparency on development decisions. Even when disagreements arose, many appreciated his willingness to communicate openly.

Among his exchanges was a dispute with streamer No Arm Whatley over the pace of major changes to League of Legends. Levin contested that Whatley had misinterpreted comments from fellow developer Phroxzon, even calling “bullsh*t” on one of his tweets.

The discussion continued in detail about the game’s direction, with Levin defending the development team’s goals while acknowledging areas that still need improvement.

Levin also addressed issues raised by players, such as limited ADC itemisation and ongoing problems with the League of Legends client. At times, he noted that certain frustrations might be due to individual player performance rather than game design.

His decision to engage was not part of his official role. “My job is literally to make a bunch of decisions for eight teams of devs spanning most of the live game… no part of my job even requires me to be on social media,” he explained, describing the interaction as an unusual use of his free time.

Levin’s approach—combining candid replies with accountability—resonated with many in a community often labelled as one of gaming’s most toxic.

While League of Legends still faces challenges with player behaviour and accessibility, such open communication from senior developers may help foster a more constructive relationship between the studio and its audience.

  • Queen Camilla makes major demand of King Charles against Prince William

Queen Camilla makes major demand of King Charles against Prince William

Queen Camilla puts her foot down against Prince William

Queen Camilla appears to have completely put her foot down with her husband over his eldest son.

Royal commentator Ian Pelham Turner is the one that made this comment public in his chat with the Mirror US.

According to the royal expert, Prince William has allegedly been “pushing to be the driving force behind the throne.” Leading Queen Camilla to make demands of her husband, urging him to “stop” it in its tracks.

Mr Turner also offered his own two cents on the matter and admitted, “Charles has great humanity, and I think he just needed the corners smoothed out, and I think that’s what Camilla has done more than anything.”

“I think what is happening at the moment, and it’s just my inkling, there’s nothing I can sort of prove, and say, ‘this is the case,’ but I get the feeling at the moment, that she’s seeing William trying to create issues and she’s told Charles to stop it.”

Before concluding he also added, “I want Charles to have his time, I get it, I think in a lot of ways, he is a very good King, I really do, and I think, where he’s come in his life now with Camilla by his side, Camilla is a much stronger person, I think, for him.”

  • David Beckham, Victoria’s family friends make rare admission about drama

David Beckham, Victoria’s family friends make rare admission about drama

David Beckham and Victoria remain estranged with son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham appear to be making attempts at reconciliation with son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz but they have not come to fruition yet.

As their family feud continues, some friends close to the family seem to think the soccer star, 50, and the fashion mogul, 51, might not have a helpful strategy to get their son back.

The couple has been making subtle comments about the estrangement in their family and extended multiple indirect olive branches to send a message to their son.

However, a source close to the family told RadarOnline that their pressurising agenda might backfire for themselves.

“If they’re trying to win their son back, constantly attacking his wife is the worst possible way to go about it,” the source said, adding, “The attacks, subtle or otherwise, are doing the opposite of what Victoria and David claim to want.

The insider continued, “People around them, friends of the family, are genuinely confused. They’re asking, ‘Why are they relentlessly hammering Brooklyn and Nicola?’”

They further claimed, “Brooklyn is just trying to create a beautiful life for himself and his wife. He doesn’t deserve to be belittled or ignored for that. So now Brooklyn and Nicola are finally standing up for themselves.”

  • Ana de Armas rumoured for Marvel role amid fan speculation over Rogue casting in upcoming MCU saga

Ana de Armas rumoured for Marvel role amid fan speculation over Rogue casting in upcoming MCU saga

Ana de Armas is reportedly being considered for a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sparking widespread fan speculation that she could portray Rogue in upcoming X-Men storylines.

The Cuban-Spanish actor rose to prominence in Blade Runner 2049 before starring in Knives Out and No Time To Die. She recently headlined Ballerina, a John Wick spinoff in which she played an assassin raised by the Ruska Roma syndicate.

According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, Armas is “being eyed” for a significant MCU role. While Marvel Studios has not confirmed the news, many fans believe she could take on the role of Anna Marie, better known as Rogue, one of Marvel Comics’ most recognisable mutants.

Disney’s 2019 acquisition of 20th Century Fox returned the X-Men film rights to Marvel Studios. While some mutants have already appeared in the MCU, their full introduction is expected in Phase 7, widely thought to be the “Mutant Saga”.

In the comics, Rogue can absorb the life force, memories, abilities, and superpowers of others through touch. Anna Paquin previously portrayed the character in Fox’s X-Men films, but Marvel is expected to cast a new actor for future appearances.

Online reactions have been divided, with many social media users convinced Armas fits the role. One wrote, “If she can master a Southern accent, that’s Rogue, sugah.”

Another commented, “She will 100% be Rogue.” Meanwhile, others have suggested alternative characters, including Magik, Elektra, X-23, and Kitty Pryde.

Names such as Margaret Qualley, Jenna Ortega, and Keke Palmer have also been mentioned by fans for the role.

For now, Marvel Studios has made no official casting announcements. Until then, speculation continues as audiences await more details on the MCU’s integration of the X-Men.

  • Sharon Stone Is “Desperate” To Play Phyllis Diller In Biopic

Sharon Stone Is “Desperate” To Play Phyllis Diller In Biopic

Nearly 13 years after the comedy legend’s death, Sharon Stone hopes to make a biopic about her late friend Phyllis Diller.

The Oscar nominee recently admitted she’s “desperate to play” Diller, who died at age 95 on Aug. 20, 2012, reflecting on her time with the comedian and how Diller prepared her to lead a potential biopic, which stone is “trying” to make happen.

“I do want to play Phyllis Diller very, very badly,” she told Business Insider. “She and I were very close friends. Phyllis made little paintings for all my kids. She cooked me dinner a lot of times — that woman could cook. I told her I wanted to play her, and she sat down and taught me her laugh. She made me practice her laugh!”

Stone added, “You know, she didn’t hit it big until she was 49. She lived in a trailer park with five kids and her schizophrenic husband, and practiced her act on women at the laundromat. It’s unbelievable. I think there are great actors who could play Bob Hope, Red Buttons, Johnny Carson. Sam Rockwell could play Johnny in his sleep. We were tight. Yes, I’m desperate to play her.”

A trailblazing stand-up comic who found fame on the screen with Bob Hope in the late ’60s, Diller was an eccentric performer known for her self-deprecating humor, inspiring fellow women in comedy like Joan Rivers, Lily Tomlin and Margaret Cho.

If Stone’s passion project comes to fruition, perhaps she’ll throw her hat in the ring to direct as well, as she mentioned in the same interview that she “wanted to be a director” earlier in her career, “but the pesky vagina has stood in my way. Because how could you possibly have a brain and a vagina? It seems to have confounded so many.”
